JConcepts Illuzion Bandit VXL Hi-Speed

New from JConcepts for the Traxxas VXL buggy is the “Hi-Speed”, whose styling presents a flowing design while incorporating many radical scoop outlets for additional air flow for speed control and motor cooling. A large Bandit specific 7” V-wing is included for maximum high speed stability while the race inspired, shorter aggressive styling, Illuzionized cab and scoop and durable flowing design are just some of the features that make the body stand out from the rest.

Exotek LST Mini conversion

Exotek Racing were in contact to tell us about their latest conversion set, this time for the Losi MLST. Aimed at replacing those fragile stock servos and the budget steering system, the conversion set features redesigned key components to allow you to go where you were scared to go before with the stock steering system – Off Road.

Protoform 8ight Hard Drive shell

Protoform, who has spent the last 10 years focusing on race bodies for sedan, on-road and oval classes, have added a new body shell for the Losi 8ight to their ever-expanding off-road bodyline known as the HardDrive. Features consistent with all HardDrives include ventilation louvers found throughout each body, which are emulated after full-scale off-road vehicles and each can be cut out to allow air to flow more effortlessly through the body. This creates less airtime when flying over jumps and less airtime equals more time on the ground, and more time on the ground equals reduced lap times and greater consistency lap after lap.

Pro Line Hole Shot LPR

Yet more releases from Pro Line, the LPR Holeshot is the latest generation in tire design for 1:8 trucks. As the class has evolved into pure performance trucks over such a short amount of time, the need for a tire that could meet and exceed those same performance needs was inevitable. Pro Line stretched the boundaries by offering less sidewall flex, greater response, more forward bite and all at a total weight savings. At just 122 grams per tire, it is the lightest ROAR spec legal tire on the market.

Pro Line LPR Velocity wheels

New for 1:8 truck owners from Pro Line are these new LPR line of Velocity wheels for 17mm hexes. Weighing in at just 55 grams for standard offset and 58 grams for ½” offset, the new LPR wheels are the lightest 3.7” wheels on the market. Special high-strength/light weight nylon are used to get the weight to a minimum while enduring the punishment 1:8 trucks typically see.

Ultimate Racing clutch bells

Following on from the release of their Compak clutch system, Ultimate Racing have released a number of new high performance vented and non-vented clutch bells for 1/8 nitro off road cars. They have been manufactured from high quality steel with a temperature treatment surface that not only looks cool but substantially increases the durability.
