Pro Line Crime Fighter

Pro Line have announced 2 updates to their extensive tire range with the introduction of the Crime Fighter to the company’s LPR range of tires. As the truggy class has evolved into pure performance trucks over such a short amount of time, the need for a tire that could meet and exceed those same performance needs was inevitable. Low Profile Race (LPR) means pure performance and Pro Line stretched the boundaries by offering less sidewall flex, greater response, more forward bite and all at a total weight savings. Also new is the introduction of the Hole Shot 4wd front tire, the first tire available on the electric scene in Square Lug Technology, which delivers performance at all levels of racing in just about every category of racing imaginable. Coupled with R3 material and your 4wd is ready for battle on many of today’s blue-groove surfaces.

K-Factory Kyosho & Mugen Bearing Sets

K-Factory have released 2 new bearing sets for Kyosho and Mugen 1/8th scale buggies that use the company’s ZF bearings that offer almost frictionless performance that helps smooth out your transmission system. The improvement in performance comes from the new tighter knit balls inside the bearing and the high quality materials used to manufacturer the entire part. The closer the balls are to each other inside the bearing the less load each one has to carry. This means the friction resulting from contact between the bearing cage and ball is reduced making the entire bearing more efficient.

SIIM PGR engine range

We have been contacted by SIIM Racing in Spain to announce the upcoming release of their new engine range called SIIM PGR. The Spanish brand will release 3 engine types, a SIIM PGR S12T for 1/10th touring, a SIIM PGR S21P for 1/8th on road and finally a SIIM PGR S21B for 1/8th buggy. These new engines have been tested for a long period of time to ensure the performance and quality are up to today’s high standards needed to rise the top at international races. Manufactured in Italy in collaboration with a prestigious engine builder, the SIIM PGR engine family will establish a new reference in the international market. Its high performance, durability and design will not go unnoticed for the expert audicences. Photos to follow.

Robitronic Air filter & After Run oil

Robitronic have released a number of engine maintenance parts in the form of new air filter foams, air filter oil and after run oil. First up are these turbo double air filters, which are perfectly cut and are used with high-quality oil that protect your engine from dangerous dust particles. The air filter sets are available in 2 formats of 6 pieces with 45ml Air Filter oil, or 12 pieces with 90ml Air Filter oil. Also available seperately is the high quality air filter oil, which thanks to its colour allows you to see the saturation when applied. Finally, Robitronic have released some After Run oil that comes in both 45ml and 90ml and when put into the engine helps prevent the engine internals from rusting when not being used between races.

K-Factory TM M1B Rear chassis stiffener

More new products from K-Factory, this time its the release of this black, hard coated, rear chassis stiffener for the Team Magic M1B 1/8th scale buggy. These superbly crafted stiffeners are designed to improve the M1B’s performance on high bite, manicured tracks that are seen in many countries around the world. In these conditions, a stiffer chassis will exploit the higher levels of traction that are present by reducing chassis flex which will adding traction in low bite conditions, can reduce response in high bite conditions.

Panther T157 MT38 Series Gator tire

Panther tires have released these T157 MT38 Series Gator tires which are designed to fit Losi 8ight T wheels as well as other 38 series wheels. Sold in both soft and medium soft compounds, they weigh in at 122g each and are 2.5″ wide and 5.5″ in diameter.

Team Losi HD Brake Disk Set

Team Losi have announced the release of this HD vented brake disk set, for their 8ight and 8ight T. Machined from special high-thermal mass material, they can withstand very high temperatures for extended periods of time without failure. With brake disk life increased by 250% over the stock set, they offer consistent braking even after long run times, while slots in the disks eliminate caliper float caused by material gassing and the slots also help cool the braking components.

Edit RC 1/10th Off Road Race Wing

Edit RC have released this ‘E-wing’ for 1/10th scale off road buggies that claims to offer huge downforce with minimal drag. The wing sits very low on the rear shock tower and has a large kick-up area for extra rear downforce and has been made from tough polycarbonate for extra durability and strength. Used by British and European Champion Neil Cragg, it is sold clear and comes supplied with overspray film.
