JConcepts Jammin CRT.5 Illuzion body

Yet more releases from JConcepts who have just released the Illuzion Jammin CRT.5 body which features a stadium truck style with a hard edge. The JConcepts wedged, or “Illuzionized”, cab combined with the flared fenders and unique window shapes make this CRT.5 body clearly recognizable. This body also sports an extremely durable bed design which can withstand the rigours of intense nitro racing. Comes supplied with a protective film, window masks and Illuzion headlight decal sheet.

JConcepts Rounder Racing Tires

More products from JConcepts, this time its the release of another set of 2wd front tires called the Rounder. Similar in design to the Groovy, the Rounder is a great tuning compliment to any abrasive surface thanks to its compact tire body with rounded 4-rib separation for smooth and aggressive steering input and response. Available in sticky Green compound, they come supplied with firm foam inserts.

JConcepts high downforce V-wing

JConcepts have announced the release of this Illuzion 6″ high down force V-wing, which is recommended for use on larger high speed tracks with a medium to high traction surface. The 6″ V-wing maintains a higher stance, much like the 7″ V-wing, for maximum flow exposure but has a narrower overall width that makes for quick transition from corner to corner. Suitable for use on all brands of 2wd and 4wd cars, it comes with a decal sheet and is covered by a protective film.

JConcepts Groovy Racing Tires

JConcepts have announced the release of their new Groovy 2wd front tire, a perfect choice for a variety of track surfaces. The Groovy incorporates a compact tire body with sharp 4-rib separation for precise steering input and response and will be available in sticky Green compound. Sold complete with firm foam inserts these tires have already won this years Florida State Series.

Ultimate Racing Air filter system

Spanish company Ultimate Racing have been in contact to give us information about their new progressive Air filter system available for a number of air filter mounts. Currently a lot of other manufacturers use hi-density foam to avoid particles getting into the engine, but the problem is that these hi-density foams soaked in filter oils encourage a dust layer to form on the external part of the filter that results in a decrease of airflow to the engine which in turn decreases engine performance and increases fuel consumption. The new system from UR consists of a combination of two different types of foam and two different kinds of oil.

Team Losi 8ight Arm Guards

Team Losi have announced the upcoming release of these Arm Guards for use on the company’s 1/8th scale 8ight and 8ight-T. Mounted to the rear wishbones through use of screw and the the rear lower upright pivot pin, these polycarbonate guards protect your rear drive shafts, shocks and other moving parts in that area, from mud splashes and dry debris picked up during racing. Super lightweight they are sold in a set of 2 and will be available later this month.

PSM Racing Nuts and Battery boxes

PSM Racing in Germany have been in contact with us to let us know about a number of new additions to their product range. First up are these anodised 1/8th scale wheel nuts, suitable for buggies and truggies they are made from lightweight aluminium and come in either red, blue or natural finish. Also new from PSM Racing are newly designed battery boxes, suitable for holding up to 6 cells and featuring a cool blue PSM branding.

Jammin 16mm X-1 Shock Absorbers

Jammin Products has released a limited amount of the new 2008 Super Big Bore 16mm shocks for the Jammin 1/8th line of Buggies and Truggies. The design allows the shock to be mounted to either the buggy or truggy by just utilizing different shock ends. Many new features have been included in this design including reinforced bladders, precision pistons, low friction assembly, threaded shock bodies and Teflon coated shock bodies.
