Tekno have released this revised body for the NB48 2.0. It maintains the original body’s distinctive design elements and style while slightly increasing the cab width. The modification adds extra internal room to optionally use the short air filter tube included with previous versions of the NB48 and NT48 vehicles.

JConcepts have introduced a whole load of new premounted tires for the Losi Mini-T 2.0 & Mini-B. First up are the Scorpios featuring a scale looking tread and tough realistic profile. The design team focused on a closely knit tread arranging them in a pattern closely resembling a 1:1 scale tire. The padded arrangement of tread makes the tire ideal for transitioning from the hard road to dirt and then into rocky and uneven terrain. Once power is applied to the vehicle, the tread spacing opens which allows for some deep digging, making it a great working tire in dirt and muddy conditions.

To install simply remove your centre bulkhead and differential. Re-using the stock differential and top plate, install their universal mag brake and car model-specific adapter kit in minutes. Power is supplied using the standard 7.4vdc receiver pack with a Dean’s plug for quality on and off connection. Connect the Mag brake controller to your throttle servo, front and rear magnets and to the receiver. Setup is simple, download the free Android or IOS application, power up your car, pair and adjust using their powerful class 1 Bluetooth, capable of up to 300feet depending on your model of phone. The first release in from July with versions for the RC8B4, TLR 8ightX and MBX8R expected with others to follow and for 1/5 scale in December of this year.

RC Maker have introduced their carbon tank guard for the Tekno NB48 2.0 Buggy. The carbon tank guard shields the tank from heat generated by the exhaust, which can heat up fuel and cause damage to your fuel tank. It guard protects the tank from melting in crashes that may cause the pipe to get knocked inwards next to the tank. For installation, simply drill two holes in the upper catchment section of the tank, install your preferred M3x8 Screws and M3 Locknuts, and tighten. The guard can be used with the fuel line clips also to keep everything neat and tidy. The tank guard is 1mm thick and CNC Machined in Australia from high quality carbon fibre and features a nice CNC engraved RC MAKER Logo.

From Pro-Line is this set of four billet adapter washers for Raid 5.7″ 24mm wheels and other 1/5 wheel fitments on X-Maxx. This set includes 4 blue anodised wheel washers to reduce the through-hole size on the Raid wheel down to fit the X-Maxx sized axles. These also allow X-Maxx users to mount other popular 1/5 scale wheels on their rigs.

The full-size Super Swamper TSL SX features the ultimate tire tread design by pairing the distinctive chevron tread pattern with the famous, trademarked, and patented Interco TSL (three-stage lug) tread design. TSL is a lug pattern with short, intermediate, and long lugs that are each uniquely arranged, proportioned, and spaced which allows them to bite quickly and self-clean rapidly. Each of these details has been faithfully recreated in 1/6 scale to fit the 2.9″ SCX6 wheel.

As the popularity of 1/24th vehicles rise, JConcepts’ Hazard seemed to be a popular choice to join the 1.0” wheel diameter world. No detail has been untouched, the new wheel includes the 10-spoke Hazard pattern, outer ribbed pattern, mock lug-nut treatment near the centre of the wheel finished off with matte finish. The beads of the wheel have also been textured for better adhesion for the gluing process noticeable in completed pre-mount and user generated tire mounting. Also new, the Glide 5 wheel is simple but has a retro vibe that makes it a popular match for many different body shapes and styles regardless of age. The 5’s incorporate a heavy 3D 5-spoke design which carries a pocketed look into and through the wheel. A multitude of angle changes on the face of the wheel gives it rigidity and a scale appearance. The matte face of the wheel looks brilliant and the stealth black colour matches to just about any paint imaginable. The inside of both wheels has beefy inner ribbing to support the outer hoop of the wheel right to the wheel hex area. The hex area is a direct bolt-on to the Axial SCX24 vehicle with a strong connection for crawling fun. Each package contains 4 wheels for an easy to change-over to new wheels.
