JConcepts Cat PB Dragonator body

Having brought back a little of the 2000’s look to 1:10 offroad buggy racing with the release of the Dragonator body shell, JConcepts has added a variant for the latest Schumacher Cat PB 1:10 4WD Buggy.  The new body is heavily inspired by the early 2000’s dynamo.  With the 1:10 buggy class is ruled primary by JConcepts performance bodies such as the S2, F2, P2, and S15, for the new season of offroad racing Jason Ruona and his Florida company got a bit more creative and sculpted this angular shell stating the ‘Cab forward, cab rearward, the debate lives on, but the Dragonator is something different’.  A good portion of the new shell is all cab, the narrow front develops width as it reaches the rear, up to a specialty fin where it picks up stability.  The long swooping side windows provide an aggressive stance that all converges to the front like an arrow.  The power pods are raised in advanced territory directing and channeling flow over the centre of the chassis and through to the rear.  The heavy inner edge of the power pods is a hard stop but ultimately the defining concept of the new item.  The decreasing radius portion of the back of the cab is unique, created to ride low-profile on the track surface and equalise the front to rear bias of the all-cab concept.  Stepped rear “doghouse” serves as the termination point of the windows and positions it just before the rear tower.  The body arrives as clear polycarbonate with protective film and is available in standard formed thickness.

Klinik RC Ultimate 1:8 Buggy & Truggy Tyre Glue Jig

American racing upgrade parts producer Klinik RC has released what they claim is the world’s first all in one 1:8 tyre glue jig.  The Klinik RC Ultimate 1:8 Tyre Jig spins on a heavy duty ball bearing turn table to eliminate the stress of pulling the tyre bead open evenly.  Simply install the top piece and twist, the bead opens evenly and perfectly in just a few seconds, equal pressure around the bead allowing glue to applied exactly where you need it.  Release the cap, equal release eliminates the chance of the bead lifting or warping giving uneven side walls.  After removing the cap, pull the tyre out and install a tyre band around the bead applying pressure and allow the glue to cure.  After dozens of models and countless refinements, the Klinik RC Ultimate 1:8 Tyre Glue Jig is now ready to make your tyre gluing experience effortless and perfect every time.  The jig stows away super compact and is completely self-contained.
