Tekin Gen4 electric brushless motors

Available now from Tekin are their new Gen4 540-class electric brushless modified motors. The company’s fourth generation brushless motors are utilising the best materials available, they were designed to cut weight while reducing resistance, resulting in a purebred racing machine. From Drag Racing to 4WD Modified Buggy, the Gen4 motors handle all situations, providing the smooth power and control across all RPMs when needed. The motor line is a completely new ground-up design. The new stator is precision stamped and pressed, increasing efficiency and reducing resistance. The motors are hand-wound with high purity copper wire and machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and they are also completely tunable with optional rotors.

Pro-Line Shadow 1/10th buggy tyre – Coming soon

Pro-Line have released a first image of their forthcoming new Shadow 1/10th scale buggy tyre. The dedicated clay surface tyre will be released as 2WD front, 4WD front, and 2WD/4WD rear variant very shortly and we bring you more details as they surface.

SWorkz S35-4 carbon fibre front lower arm covers

SWorkz have announced the release of three new carbon fibre front lower arm covers for the S35-4 series of buggies. The covers are made of SWorkz’s Pro-composite carbon fibre and they are available in 1.0mm, 1.5mm, and 2.0mm thickness, allowing to adjust the arm’s overall stiffness easily. The covers are attached with the included 3mm socket screws for strength and durability and they come as separate sets.

Infinity M3x8mm flanged red aluminium screw

Creation Model have introduced a red anodised M3x8mm flanged aluminium screw that can be used for a variety of applications. The fastener is perfect to holding the shock mount bushings on the shock tower of the Infinity IF14-2 and they can also be used to attach wings on 1/10th scale body shells. The button head screw is made of high-quality aluminium, it comes red anodised and in sets of four.

Hot Race Tyres Bangkok V2 1/8th buggy tyre

Coming from Hot Race is their new Bangkok V2 tyre for 1/8th buggies. The V2 features a mini pin design with an inner mesh making for lower and more even tyre wear that allows for greater overall durability in long mains. The tyre fits all standard 1/8th scale buggy wheels and it will become available in supersoft, soft, medium, and hard compounds from mid-July.

Axial SCX10 III Jeep JLU Wrangler RTR

Horizon Hobby have introduced the new Axial SCX10 III Jeep JLU Wrangler RTR portal axle trail truck. While continuing to incorporate key components that have made SCX10 vehicles successful, the SCX10 III increases chassis realism with details that include a replica V8 engine to house the installed brushed motor. It is mated to a realistic transmission housing and transfer case, like a full-scale vehicle. The RTR also comes complete with the Spektrum DX3 3-channel 2.4GHz DSMR transmitter and Firma 40A ESC/receiver.

Traxxas Slash 2WD unassembled kit

Traxxas’ award-winning Slash 2WD short course truck is also available as an unassembled kit, allowing to enjoy building one yourself. The kit targets entry-level as well as experienced modellers that want to build the truck from the ground up with all the required parts and electronics included in the box.
