Coming from SWorkz and made for the S35-3 1/8th buggies is a pre-painted body shell. Factory painted and pre-cut the body is ready-to-mount for the electric buggy with some minor prepping being required to make the lid fit to the nitro-powered car, such as cutting the pre-marked fuel tank and cooling head openings. Included with the body comes a nose cone and a pre-cut decal sheet.

GForce is busy adding more competition LiPo battery packs to their growing range with the latest addition being a lightweight low-profile 3800mAh shorty battery. The pack is built using high-quality 65C/130C cells that allow to construct a low profile 18.5mm tall battery of just 155g of weight. The battery has a 93x46mm footprint and it is ideal for all applications that require high power output but not the utmost of capacity.

Leadfinger Racing have announced the release of their A2.1 Tactic body shell for the HB Racing D819 and E819 buggies. The A2.1 Tactic body is a one off design that delivers a tuning option in between the original LFR Assassin and A2 Tactic bodies and it features the addition of the cowl scoops on the side pods. Depending on the performance the driver is looking for, these can be left alone to add to the overall down force of the car, or owners can choose to drill them out for additional cooling. When opened up, the pipe side of the cowl pulls air directly past the block and manifold of the nitro motor. The next addition was the fin on top of the roof. The advantage is more stability in high speed sections of the track and a more precise feel under hard cornering. Very effective is the additional down force added to both side pods and rear swoop that sets the body directly in between both the Assassin and A2 designs. The A2.1 body is available both in light weight or standard thickness, and it comes in clear, including window masks, stickers, and a front wing.
Coming from new Asian brand OUP are aluminium upper suspension mounts for the Cross-RC Demon crawler series. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming with an anodised surface finish for wear and looks, the upper suspension mounts offer 14 different upper shock mounting positions, allowing to use different suspension length settings and ensuring optimised shock angles for 290mm to 315mm wheelbase settings. The upper suspension mounts fit the SG4, SR4, SP4, SU4, FR4 and KR4 series of crawlers.
Mugen have introduced dogbone centre driveshafts for the MBX8T and MBX8T Eco 1/8th scale truggies. The 88mm front and 161.5mm rear driveshafts are used in combination with the E2260 centre joint cups and they replace the respective universal driveshafts. When used in the front, the dogbone-style driveshaft will improve the steering response while using the dogbone in the rear will increase rear end traction. The parts were used by Mugen’s Ryan Maifield to win this year’s ROAR National Championship and they are available separately.

PSM have announced the release of their new DTC Delta Traction Characteristics aluminium main chassis plate for the Team Associated B74 buggy. Developed to improve the B74’s performance, especially in medium to low grip track conditions, the DTC chassis features delta shaped pockets to provide soft torsional flex characteristics along with consistent performance. The soft flex allows the buggy to generate more mechanical grip, which is very helpful in low grip conditions and/or when running on tight and technical tracks. A special coating process provides a stealth black look along with super smooth surface finish. An additional PTFE coating makes for optimised surface gliding characteristics. The chassis features a unique LCG weight distribution system, which allows the owner to add up to 24 optional weight inlays, a total of 34g, at predefined locations with out modifying the torsional characteristics of the chassis or adding up to its original thickness. Thanks to this the driver can fine-tune the balance the chassis pretty easily. The additional brass weights are available in gold or silver colour, depending on the driver’s colour taste.
Samix have announced the release of three different titanium suspension link sets for the Element RC Enduro trail trucks. Available are a 2-piece long and short steering link set, an 8-piece high-clearance front and rear lower link kit, as well as a 10-piece set containing all of the above. The links are machined from high-quality titanium material for a low weight and exceptional stability and they come with etched markings for easy identification. The parts fit the standard Enduro rod ends and the suspension links make for a 313mm wheelbase configuration.
