JQRacing Black Edition eCar 1/8th electric buggy kit

JQRacing have introduced their new Black Edition eCar 1/8th scale electric off-road buggy. The updated kit shares the Black nitro, and Grey eBuggy’s front and rear gearboxes, with the centre portion and chassis being all new. The latter features 3mm thickness and a longer wheelbase for improved grip and stability while the improved centre diff and motor mount adds strength and ensures reliable gear mesh. New are also the carbon fibre battery holders with the battery mount taking full length and shorty LiPo battery packs. Two positions for the shorty batteries also allow the driver to access different weight bias settings while an improved front brace makes for stability and strength.

JConcepts S15 body for Mugen MBX8 Eco

Having released the S15 bodyshell for the Mugen MBX8 back in January, JConcepts have introduced the updated S15 for the latest MBX8 Eco. Blending performance features on the popular Silencer body with new features such as mid-body winglets and rear stabiliser kick-up, the roof of the body remains strong with the upper fin in position for stability and tracking ability. The rear drop-down area remains clean and a deep-rooted position allows maximum side exposure to air and escape. The front and rear body mount area is cleanly designed and allows for a drop-fit on the Mugen MBX8 Eco and older MBX7 Eco kit variants. Each S15 body supplied with window mask and decal sheet.

Designed from the ground up for incredible grip and stability on the toughest terrain, the Hyrax tire is ready to tackle anything your Desert Truck or modified Short Course Truck can dish out. also new from Pro-Line are the Rock Shooter 1.9″ aluminium composite internal bead-loc wheels. Designed to not only look scale with the 12 hole design but to be super easy to use by only requiring 6 screws per wheel for mounting tires. The face of the Rock Shooter has been CNC machined in the USA to exacting tolerances and precision finishes. The unique 3-piece wheel design bolts together in the back and locks on to Pro-Line’s incredible list of 1.9″ Crawling Tires the same way as Pro-Line’s Impulse 1.9″ plastic wheel.

RDRP B74 aluminium shock towers

New from RDRP are these aluminium front and rear shock towers designed for the B74 4WD off-road buggy. They match the standard kit geometry but are of a heavy duty design for durability and stability, increasing suspension efficiency and precision also thanks to the high-quality aluminium material they are machined off. As they match the stock dimensions they are a direct replacement with no setup changes needed when swapping parts over. In addition the high amount of machining, including silver chamfered edges, makes for a visually pleasing appearance while keeping the parts’ weight low. Both the front and rear tower come black anodised for looks and surface protection.

Avid RC shock standoffs & 5mm black hexes

Two new items from Avid RC for the Associated line up of 1/10th buggies. First up is their popular shock standoffs now come in a 10mm version for the B74. They include replaceable delrin bushings and threaded all the way through to keep them from bending as easily. Secondly they now have their black hexes in 5mm to fit the B74 and B6.1 lineup of vehicles. They include the ever popular 2-56” screw, that is a larger thread with a 2mm head to prevent stripping.

Sweep 1/8th scale Wide Heavy-duty wheels

Fresh from Sweep Racing is these 1/8th scale WHD (Wide Heavy-duty) 1/2 off-set wheels for monster truck or 1/8th speed-run cars. These new wheels are developed for SRC Terrain Crusher or Road Crusher belted tires and with the 1/2 wide offset the wheels provide more stable steering even at high speed and less trouble for the suspension arms. The wheels comes in matte black colour as well as chrome blue, with chrome red available soon.
