T-Works titanium turnbuckles for Yokomo YZ-2

T-Works have announced some option parts for the new Yokomo YZ-2 buggy. The range includes a lightweight 6-piece titanium turnbuckle set, a 102-piece UFO head titanium screw kit as well as 129-piece gold-colour steel screw set. The titanium parts are cut from high-quality 64-grade titanium for a low weight and high strength, ensuring a lower overall car weight and greater corrosion resistance. The gold-coloured steel screws however mainly add visual impact, allowing the ride to stand out.

RDRP B74 alu fan mount

Coming from Revolution Design Racing Products is an aluminium fan mount for Team Associated’s latest B74 1/10th 4WD buggy. The item is machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium and it attaches to the centre chassis brace by using an already existing mounting point. The mount is designed for 30mm and 40mm fan units that are held in place with much greater reliability compared to just using double-sided tape while also adding visual impact and cool factory looks. The black anodised item comes laser-etched to show off your passion for everything RDRP and it only adds minimal weight. The fan mount is a direct fit on the B74 when using 30mm fan units. 40mm fans only fit certain body shells so some adjustments to the body height might be needed. The mount is also available including a Ruddog 30mm aluminium HV high speed cooling fan.

Hudy Chassis protector vinyl sticker

Hudy have introduced this new chassis protector vinyl sticker. Sized 360x125mm, and easily cut to fit your car, it is a great option to help protect the chassis of your 1/10th buggy. Recommended for use on new and used chassis to resist against scratches and scrapes and prolong the life of the chassis, for best results always replace the sheet when noticeable wear occurs. In addition to protecting the chassis, the protector also provides a slick and smooth chassis surface which reduces friction when contacting the race surface – especially clay. If you land hard and bottom out, your buggy should more easily slide through it and maintain momentum.

DE Racing have announced the release of their new Street Outlaw rear tyres for SCT drag or oval racing. Designed for the use with the company‘s Gambler series of wheels the slick tyres are available in D40 soft, D30 super soft and C1 clay compounds and including closed cell inserts.

ORB Racing Forward 2WD FWD buggy – Coming soon

ORB Racing have released a first teaser image of their Forward called 1/10th scale 2WD front-wheel drive buggy conversion kit. The entirely new front/mid-motor platform utilises donor parts of a Team Associated B6.1D/DL buggy, doing away with the need to source discontinued Team Durango parts – as it was needed for its predecessor. The buggy is currently in its final stages of design and the conversion kit will become available soon.

Bezerk Cat L1 carbon fibre option parts

Bezerk RC have introduced new carbon fibre option parts for the Schumacher Cat L1 4WD buggy in the form of lower shock towers and thinner upper decks. Starting with the shock towers, through testing in Australian conditions the designers have found that 4mm lower towers add the droop required for better handling on rougher terrain and make the car easier to drive on lower grip levels. The top of the front tower has been shaped the same to retain the kit plastic tower guard. The front and rear tower are cut from 4.0mm carbon fibre and they are available separately. Also new are front and rear upper decks in 2.2mm and 2.0mm variants that are both thinner than the standard kit parts for an easier to drive car in lower grip levels. The two thicknesses available allow to adapt the car further, enabling to fine-tune chassis stiffness. The top decks come as pairs separately for the front and rear and in the respective thicknesses.

DMS Partz SBX-410 4.8mm swaybar ball 2mm hole

Coming from DMS Partz are new 4.8mm swaybar balls with 2mm holes for the Corally SBX-410 4WD buggy. The black anodised balls feature a 2mm centre hole to accept larger size sway bars which comes in when running in high to very high bite track conditions. The swaybar balls come in sets of four and they are available now.
