Samix have introduced a brass knuckle bushing set for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck. The set includes four CNC-machined brass sleeves and four 10.9 steel silver-coated screws and the set is a direct fit for the original TRX-4 steering knuckles and C-hubs as well as Samix’s own aluminium or brass steering knuckles and C-hubs.
Coming from Yeah Racing and made the the 1.9” crawler wheels of Vanquish, SSD or Yeah Racing are brass wheel hubs. They weigh in at 53g and add rotating mass for more forward momentum and thus improved climbing performance over tricky obstacles. The hubs are machined of high-quality brass material and they sport a vented brake disc design for looks.
Coming from Italian company Hot Race Tyres is their new Alaska 1/8th buggy tyre. The tread is made up of bigger inner blocks for traction and exceptional wear while the smaller and densely packed outer pins ensures good rotation in the corner while maintaining a stable overall feeling. A rounder overall appearance compared to the company’s other tyres will make for an easy to drive buggy in all track conditions. The tyre is available in super soft, soft, medium and hard rubber compounds.

Coming from MIP is a 41T Mod1 spur gear for the Losi Tenacity vehicles. The main gear will change the overall gearing and helps increase the bottom end punch. It is machined and not moulded, hence, super precise and will quiet down the drivetrain for an overall smoother ride.

Made for the popular Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck is a new brass rear bumper mount from Samix. The item is machined from heavy brass material to add 139g of weight at the rear end of the truck. While adding strength due to the sturdy metal construction the added weight will improve climbing performance and stability in difficult trail conditions. The mount comes with a black surface coating for looks and less oxidation and it sports a gold-coloured engraving.
T-Works have introduced a graphite fuel tank guard for the Team Associated RC8B3.1 buggy. Machined from lightweight carbon fibre the guard is offering a shield against the exhaust heat, ensuring less swelling of the tank for greater engine performance and less chance of failing to pass the tech inspection due to an excessive tank volume. Included with the the machined carbon fibre part comes suitable mounting hardware.

Team Silverback have introduced their all-new 7.4V 5000mAh ultra low centre of gravity LiPo battery pack. The power source is made of G-Series graphene-technology cells for a very low internal resistance, high discharge rates, enhanced punch and maximum top speed. Xray have introduced the 2019 variant of their popular XB2D 2WD buggy for low to medium grip traction conditions. The Dirt Edition kit includes several new parts and also optionals from stock to make it an all-in-one solution for a variety for track conditions. The buggy utilises a new short wheelbase chassis with updated machining to optimise the flex characteristics with the most important feature being the two different gearbox layouts. Included in the kit is a mid motor gearbox with a high-placed (stand-up) idler gear and slipper for improved traction on low-bite surfaces while the front motor (laydown) transmission is ideal for medium-traction racing conditions. To extract the maximum traction the stand-up gearbox is combined with the included composite shock tower while the laydown gearbox utilises carbon fibre rear tower. Dedicated idler gears, waterfalls, camber link plates, motor mounts, gear covers and battery mounts round out the all-in-one package. Also part of the 2019 package are an ultra-smooth ball differential, new multi-functional rear uprights, longer rear arms, updated rear driveshafts with 2.5mm pins, a 2-pad slipper clutch as well as the all-new Alpha 2 body shell. Hard composite steering blocks, front suspension arms, and upper deck help to find grip in lower traction conditions without sacrificing precision on grippier tracks.
