PR Racing have released a first of what is expected to be their forthcoming SB401 Type R 1/10th 4WD buggy. The vehicle will add to PR Racing’s line of Type R competition kits and is understood to come with a range of high-performance features right out of the box. T-Works have introduced a 14-piece set of 64 Grade titanium ball ends for the Team Associated B6.1 series of buggies. The set includes high-quality titanium ball ends that reduce both the overall weight and improve corrosion resistance compared to the standard steel items while also adding visual impact. The set fits both the B6.1 and B6.1D and it is available now.

Coming from Samix and made for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck is an adjustable aluminium servo brace. The item is machined from high-quality aluminium and its sliding design allows to use the most popular servos without any modifications. While being very versatile the item also greatly improves overall chassis rigidity while protecting the servo case from excessive stress. The servo brace comes in three different colours and it is available now.
Coming from RC-Carbonstore’s Rebellion-RC brand are new carbon fibre optionals for the SWorkz S35-3 1/8th scale buggy. Made especially for SWorkz’s Factory team and in use at this week’s EFRA 1/8th Nitro Buggy European Championships in Portugal are a -5mm low-profile front shock tower, a -3mm low-profile rear shock tower as well as the Wollanka Edition carbon fibre steering arms. The shock towers optimise the suspension geometry while offering an overall lower centre of gravity, and the carbon fibre steering arms are a replacement for the kit’s aluminium items, also offering an optimised steering geometry. The items are precision-cut from highest grade resin transfer moulding process carbon fibre and they available in a total of twelve different colours including two different black carbon weaves.
RC Cars Cavalieri from Germany have introduced their new carbon fibre wing flaps for the TLR 8ight 4.0 buggy. The items are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and they are made to both reinforce the kit’s composite wing mounts while also slightly improving aerodynamics by helping to better guide the airflow underneath the wing. The parts are a direct fit and attach to the wing stay using longer hardware.
T-Works have introduced three carbon fibre fuel tank guards for kits such as the Mugen MBX8, HB Racing D817 and RGT8 as well as the Serpent SRX8. The guards are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and they attach utilising already existing mounting locations and by using the included hardware. The carbon fibre sheets will prevent damages to the tank due to the hot exhaust pipe while also keeping heat away in general to ensure the tanks will not or at least swell less – a symptom that can cause issues in post-race tech inspections.
Made for Traxxas’ popular TRX-4 trail truck are two new option parts from Yeah Racing. First up is a set of brass portal axle covers whose bulky design adds 118g of weight per axle. The covers are a direct fit and while adding weight and style they also improve overall rigidity of the portal axle assembly. Also new are metal rock rails for the TRX-4 truck. Made from steel and coming with a black surface coating for wear and looks, the rails replace the original plastic units to offer better chassis and body protection in heavy terrain.
Made for 12” to 13” wheelbase rigid axle monster trucks is JConcepts’ new 2010 Ford Raptor body shell. As the full-scale trucks hit the mid-2000’s, they were looking for a body to spice up their act, look more racy and add another dimension to the appearance. A lot of the teams raced to market the first “trophy truck” body or desert themed monster truck and a new generation started. On the RC side of things, the option just did not exist which left a lot of scale monster truckers scratching their heads while trying to come up with that look for the scale counterparts. This is where JConcepts’ latest MT body steps in with large wheel well openings, sculptured cab, recessed windows, hood scoop and race tucked rear fenders. The body will work well on a number of solid axle trucks on the market but is also adjustable in wheelbase fitting trucks from 12” to 13” long. The race proven extra cab look allows ample room to mount the body on an Axial SMT10 and still packs a mean punch mounted on custom “shafty” and clod buster based rigs. The flat bed area can be left clear during the painting process or detailed exactly how the user wants to replicate their favourite monster. Each package includes window masks, a 2010 generation Ford Raptor specific decal sheet and the clear polycarbonate body.
