Xray have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming XB8’17 1/8th scale nitro off-road buggy. The latest incarnation of the company’s poplar XB8 platform will hit the stores soon with all information and images becoming available in time for the release.

Coming from SWorkz and made for the S12-1 2WD buggy are two new aluminium option parts. First up is an aluminium Ackermann plate made from high-quality aluminium to make for improved overall strength and steering precision. The black anodised part comes including a set of ball bearings, shims and mounting hardware. Also new and designed to work together with the above Ackermann plate are aluminium steering bellcranks. Like the steering plate the bellcranks come machined from aluminium and they sport a black surface finish for wear and looks. More sturdy than the standard composite parts the alloy bellcranks will improve steering response especially on high-bite surfaces.

Highest have introduced the new high-voltage compatible D1000 servo with all-aluminium case. Capable of speeds down to 0.08s and offering a dynamic torque of 14.8kg-cm the coreless motor standard-size servo is ideal for off-road applications and a popular choice of Highest team drivers such as David Ronnefalk and Robert Batlle. The search offers a full-aluminium case including upper and lower case as well as the middle section and it is available now.
Tekno RC have announced the release of two new products for their line of 1/8th and 1/10th vehicles. First up are black anodised aluminium shock caps made from 7075 material. They allow the use of any build style – emulsion/vented/standard – in order to fine-tune the damping characteristics to any track surface. The included left and right side shock caps allow the cap screw to face toward the inside of the vehicle and the bleeder hole to face the rear, away from incoming dirt and dust. The package includes one left and one right side shock cap, two emulsion O-rings, two emulsion cap screws and two small cap screw O-rings. The O-rings are also available separately as spares.
Coming from 110% Racing is the carbon fibre shock pod. Based on the original design the carbon fibre version is even lighter than before and has a wider footprint, making it more stable for a more secure stand on the pit table. It accommodates both 1/10th and 1/8th scale shocks and it is quick and easy to assemble and disassemble for storage.
Team Losi Racing have introduced an aluminium servo tray for the 5ive-B large scale gas buggy. Machined from aluminium and coming hard-anodised for wear, the servo mount offers improved rigidity while allowing to run a dual steering servo setup for optimised steering control. Included with the tray comes suitable mounting hardware.

HRC Racing make wire protection easy with the introduction of two new Team Secret Weapon wire protection sleeves. Made from sturdy fabric material the sleeves are available in two sizes; as 13mm diameter variant for 10AWG to 16AWG power cables and in a smaller 6mm variant for servo and receiver leads. The black colour sleeves come in coils of 100cm and they not only protect wires from being cut and scuffed cut but they also add a dark and stealthy factory look without having to swap or blacken coloured wires.

Built from high-performance 100C cells the battery offers a high capacity and it is ideal for demanding 1/8th electric buggy and truggy racing. The hardcase pack measures 138x47x47.5mm, it weighs in at 545g and comes pre-wired with 10AWG wires, a genuine Deans connector, and an XH-type balancer port.
