HB Racing D815-series hard A-arms sets

Coming from HB Racing are hard front and rear A-arms sets for the D815 series off-road and on-road vehicles. Standard on the RGT8 1/8th nitro GT car the arms are also usable on the D815, D812 and the forthcoming E817 buggy as the harder material used improves handling on high-traction surfaces while also reducing the vehicle’s sensitivity to variations in traction. The front and rear arms are available separately, they include composite arm inserts and mounting hardware.

JConcepts YZ-2 S2 buggy bodyshell

JConcepts’ popular S2 bodyshell is now also available for the Yokomo YZ-2 2WD buggy. Featuring a low centre of gravity design the S2 assists fast corning on high-bite surfaces while offering plenty of downforce thanks to a progressive cab design that also makes for best possible steering while maintaining exceptional overall balance. The upper side-pods feature distinct vents used to help relieve hot air build-up inside the body for those high-powered runs or hot days at the track. Carved and detailed side-pods edge the body giving the highly aero unit a stylish look with a tight fit and finish. Cut-lines are included on the body to accommodate 3 and 4 gear lay-down transmission layouts as well as the “dirt” 3 gear stand-up configuration, giving all out versatility. The body is available in a regular and lightweight variant including the Aero rear wing.

Redworkshop roll tuning shorty LiPo weights

Redworkshop from France have introduced two under LiPo tuning weights that help to adjust the chassis roll by offering two different designs. At 2mm thickness the plates weigh in at 43g with the dual cutout variant making for a more centralised weight distribution while the single cutout version shifts the mass to the outer parts for increased chassis roll without the need to change roll centres or ride height. The weights are designed for the use with transversal battery layouts but they can also be used, without the chassis roll feature, with inline batteries too.

Team Losi Racing 22-4 alloy gear diff pulleys

Team Losi Racing have introduced the aluminium gear diff pulley set for the TLR 22-4 2.0 buggy. Included are a fine-pitch front and a standard-pitch rear gear differential pulley to replace the kit’s composite parts. Machined from high-quality aluminium the pulleys offer improved durability, they are very true for consistent belt tension and they come with a hard-anodised surface for wear and reduced friction.

Avid B6/B6D carbon steering block arms

Avid have introduced a pair of carbon fibre steering arms for the Team Associated B6 and B6D 2WD buggies. Maintaining the kit geometry the parts, cut from 2.5mm high-quality carbon fibre, are a direct replacement that scrubs about a gram of weight. The plates come in Avid’s reusable Doodad container and they are available now.

Trinity Monster Horsepower Spec brushless motors

Trinity have introduced their new Monster Horsepower Spec brushless motor for 10.5T to 21.5T stock class racing. It features an aluminium based sensor board for true sensor alignment, 2mm copper solder tabs, a thermal stator coating for improved heat dissipation and a new rotor design that benefits both RPM and torque. A redesigned turbine-style vented nose pice and new high-temperature wire coating round out the features list. The motor is available in 10.5T, 13.5T, 17.5T and 21.5T specification with modified variants to follow soon.

Kyosho Lazer ZX6.6 4WD off-road buggy kit

Following the introduction of the Ultima RB6.6 Kyosho have now announced the soon release of the upgraded Lazer ZX6.6 4WD kit. The buggy is designed to meet the increased demands of the modern racing scene for more power and higher grip. For increased traction and stability on high grip surfaces, the optional aluminium HD main chassis is included as standard. Changes around the centre gear from the slipper clutch to the diff realise smooth traction on all surface conditions and in addition, the introduction of the gullwing type rear suspension arms from the RB6.6 allows longer shock stroke for improved surface tracing through corners and performance over surface gaps. These changes combine to lift the overall performance and result in an improved total balance of the machine. The kit will hit stores in November.

Team Associated introduce new RC8B3 & T3 options

Team Associated shave introduced a range of new option parts for the RC8B3 and RC8T3 1/8th off-road kits. First up are 16mm bleeder shock caps that give the ability to run emulsion-style shock absorbers. The setup is ideal for large jumps and flat landings in addition to tracks with looser surface. The shock caps come as pairs including mounting material and bleeder screws. In addition to the caps Team Associated have also released a 4-piece set of bleeder shock cap seals.
