Avid have introduced a range of titanium option parts for the Team Associated B6 and B6D buggies. First up are titanium battery posts that are of a very minimalistic and lightweight design. Weighing in at only 1.2g per set the mounting hardware allows to lower the battery brace by 0.5mm for those slim packs and included in the set come two billet 6AI-4V titanium posts and a pair of 7075-T6 aluminium nuts.
LRP have introduced the 2400kv variant of their successful Dynamic 8 brushless motor. Closing the gap between the 2200kv and the 2600kv the 4-pole motor, winner of the Italian championships and runner-up at the 2016 EFRA Euros, offers a balance between power and run time and it features a machined alloy case with heatsink design, a precision-balanced sintered rotor and pre-soldered silver-plated heavy-duty connectors.

X-Factory UK have introduced the DMS Trim2Tune tyre inserts for 1/14th scale micro off-road cars. The idea behind the inserts was that micro racers were always requesting different width inserts to fine-tune the grip levels on their micro buggies to differing tracks. Unlike many other classes the ranges of inserts on offer were quite minimal, so options were greatly reduced. DMS’s open cell inserts come very specifically as 50mm wide as the most popular width in use is still 25mm and for those racers happy with this width, they can simply cut them straight down the middle. For those who wish to create their own width specific to their requirements, they can be trimmed with conventional scissors to any width desired. The inserts come as pair, allowing to cut at least four inserts from a pack and they are available in a soft, medium and firm variant.
MIP’s popular X-Duty C-Drive centre driveshaft kit is now also available for the Vaterra Ascender. Designed to offer improved durability the splined driveshafts take a lot of abuse even when running the truck in the toughest of terrains and with a powerful motor. The set is made from high-grade alloy steel, heat-treated and it includes all needed parts to convert the centre driveline of the truck. The set fits the Ascender, K105, K5 and Ford Bronco and it becomes available by mid-October.

Horizon Hobby have introduced the upgraded ECX line of 1/10th 2WD off-road RTR vehicles. The 2WD trucks, equipped with adjustable oil-filled shock absorbers, tough gearboxes with adjustable slipper clutch and gear differential as well as nylon composite chassis and long-travel suspension come with a new Dynamite 1800mAh LiPo battery and 800mA LiPo balance charger. The kits are rounded out by a Spektrum STX FHSS 2.4GHz radio system, 15T brushed motor, water-proof electronics and pre-painted bodyshells. Available are the Circuit stadium, Torment SC and Ruckus monster truck.

X-Factory UK have introduced the new DMS 1/10th short course truck tyre inserts. Of an open cell construction and available in the colour-coded hardnesses of firm, medium and soft, the inserts were tested by national and local level drivers and they are meant to offer exceptional durability and consistency. The foam inserts come in packs of two and including a DMS Insertz decal sheet.

Coming from HRC Racing are two new LiPo battery packs. First up is a 5000mAh oval diameter hardcase battery made using 40C cells. Designed for the use in applications that usually require racing pack style NiMH batteries, such as RTR cars and starter boxes, the LiPo variant makes for improved performance and run time. The pack features an external balancer port and it is available with a T-type or standard Tamiya plug. Also new is the high-capacity 10000mAh 11.1V 3S softcase LiPo battery pack for vehicles such as the Traxxas T-Maxx. The battery comes equipped with a TRX plug.

Exotek have introduce new 0mm and +5mm offset spring perches for the Team Associated B6 and B6D. Machined, polished and anodised the spring cups are a direct fit for AE 12mm big bore shocks with B6 shock ends. Extra milling makes for a low weight with the reinforced strength of CNC-cut aluminium and a snug fit helping to reduce the chance of losing a perch. Milled holes also reduce debris from collecting inside. The perches are available in black and blue anodising.
