JConcepts Ford F-150 trail & scale bodyshell

JConcepts have introduced the new Ford F-150 trail and scale bodyshell. Made for 1.9″ Vaterra and Axial trucks the body features signature F-150 details such as bulging wheel arches, a drop-down beltline at the front doors, and some of the biggest snarling grille nostrils ever seen on a truck. The F-150 body is specifically built for the Vaterra Ascender and Axial chassis providing even more versatility to the wildly successful platforms. Made from clear polycarbonate the body comes including a comprehensive decal sheet.

Xray XB8 2016 – Coming soon

Xray have send out a teaser image of the forthcoming XB8 2016 specification 1/8th nitro off-road buggy. Different from other brands no information about the new kit have leaked in the wake of the release but detailed images and information about the vehicle should become available very soon.

Team Associated Factory team aluminium servo horns

Team Associated have introduced new Factory Team aluminium servo horns for the RC8B3 and RC8T3 series of vehicles. The machined alloy arms are stronger than the stock plastic ones and due to a slightly shorter 18.5mm length they provide a smoother steering feel while decreasing load on the servo. The arms are of a clamping design, they come black anodised, with etched spline size and they are available in 23T and 25T sizes.

Coming from 110% Racing is the Shock Pod shock absorber stand for 1/8th and 1/10th dampers. Made with high quality acrylic materials and featuring a black base and clear legs the lightweight design accommodates both the smaller 1/10th scale and larger 1/8th scale off-road shocks thanks to different diameter holes with the stand storing them securely to keep the workspace organised and clean. Exotek B5M adjustable LiPo strap

The latest vehicle to receive Exotek’s adjustable LiPo strap treatment is Team Associated’s B5M 2WD buggy. The heavy duty battery hold down is cut from high-quality carbon fibre, it weighs in at 8.5g with steel hardware and it was designed to securely hold the battery while allowing to adjust the weight distribution by shifting the pack forth and back using the included nuts and bolts, doing away with the need to use bulky foam blocks. The battery strap is a direct fit for the B5M and it is also usable with the T5M and SC5M kits.

Evo Zirkon Power 6500mAh LiPo battery pack

Evo have introduced their new 6500mAh LiPo battery pack. Made using high-performance 110C cells the 2S 7.4V battery is ideal for high-power applications such as modified and stock racing and it utilises a grey-colour hardcase with 4mm gold-plated connector tubes. The standard-size battery sports dimensions of 139x47x23mm and it weighs in at a pretty lightweight 298g.

Kyosho introduce new ZX6 & RB6 option parts

Kyosho have new option parts for the ZX6 and RB6 1/10th electric off-road buggies available. First up are heavy duty front and rear shock towers for the ZX6. Available separately the parts are cut from thick 5mm carbon fibre to improve durability and reduce flex on high-bite surfaces. Included with the towers comes suitable mounting hardware. Next up is an anti-roll bar set for the ZX6. It contains four swaybars of 1.7mm, 1.8mm, 1.9mm and 2.0mm diameter, making it ideal for all high-bite surfaces such as carpet and astroturf. Included with the colour-coded anti-roll bar wires comes mounting hardware such as pivot balls, grub screws and shims. Last but not least is a set of aluminium battery posts and thumb nuts for the RB6. Machined from aluminium and coming gun metal anodised the parts replace the standard plastic posts and body clips with a more “factory” looking solution that also improves chassis stiffness as the alloy posts eliminate the flexing associated with the standard composite parts.
