Schumacher Fusion Slim 1:10 2WD front tyre

New from Schumacher is the Fusion Slim 2WD front tyre that it has developed from the popular Low Profile Cut Stagger. The new tyre adds centre spikes for more steering and longer life, but maintains the Stagger edges and undercut sidewall. Therefore allowing any extra steering to be controllable and not too aggressive. It is most suitable for high grip tracks, such as carpet or astro, and can knock tenths off your 2WD buggy lap times. Schumacher recommend that it is used with the U6667 slim hard foam insert and if you have been using LP Cut Staggers then your buggy may require some setup changes for more rear traction, to balance the increased grip from the front tyres.

In its latest 1:10 Crawler release, Element RC has introduced the Knightwalker Red RTR to its line of Enduro Trail Trucks. The Enduro Trail Truck with Knightwalker body comes ready for adventure right out of the box, with performance-driven Reedy Power electronics. The ultra-smooth, and powerful 16-turn, 5-slot Reedy brushed crawler motor and Reedy Power metal-gear, water-resistant servo supply ample power to this tough rig. Controlling the truck on the trail is our Flysky 2-in-1 radio and ESC combination. At the heart of the Enduro range is the revolutionary Stealth X gearbox. Although the exterior appears to have a conventional 3-gear transmission look, the inside is far from conventional. The Stealth X features the ability to adjust the rear drive ratio independently of the front drive across three levels: stock overdrives the front end 5.7%, option 1 provides a one-to-one drive ratio front-to-rear, and option 2 overdrives the front end 11.83%.

Matrix Neutron 1:8 Offroad tyre

Having officially entered the 1:8 Offroad tyre market in February of this year, Italian manufacturer Matrix Tires has released the latest addition to their range, the Neutron. The new tyre, the fifth model in the line-up, was given its first public introduced over the weekend at the ONG Trophy held at the track of World Champion & Matrix team driver Davide Ongaro. While Matrix don’t go into the specifics of the new tyre, it is available in their 7 compound options and both with or without their insert.

Reds Racing 721 Euros Edition

New from Italian engine builders Reds Racing is this new limited edition 721 Superveloce off-road engine to celebrate the company’s success at the 2023 Euros in Redovan, Spain last month. The new ‘Euros Edition’ 1:8 Offroad engine is a limited edition of only 300 pcs built to the same setup as used by Top Qualifier and Champion Juan Carlos Canas and Elliott Boots who took 2nd place at the 2023 European Championship. The engine comes with their revolutionary RTX Rotating Backplate that aims to increase engine power and improve stability at idle speed thanks to a drastic reduction in friction between the connecting rod and backplate. This time Reds Racing engineers have invented something unique in RC model market, destined to be considered one of the most innovative solutions of the last 30 years. Contrary to what happens for traditional RC engines, where the connecting rod slides on the backplate producing sliding friction, in the RTX Backplate the connecting rod is in contact with a special steel plate that can rotate together with the conrod thanks to the fact that it is mounted on two special high speeds ball bearings.
