Awesomatix A700 gear diff V2

Seen for the first time in public at the recent ETS season opening race in the Czech Republic Awesomatix now have the V2 gear differential for the A700 touring car available. The updated version offers ultra smooth running and a newly designed floating inner O-ring system to compensate the fluid’s volume expansion once the oil starts to heat-up during a race. This makes the diff more consistent throughout the run and also generates a more consistent and predictable car with increased rear traction. New filling and bleeding holes within both outdrives allow for easy building, setup and maintenance, leaving a “bubble-free” differential. The set comes without internal gears, cross pins or washers but according to Awesomatix the latest Xray T4 items will do the job just fine.

RDRP Ultra 1/10 shock O-ring set

New from Revolution Design Racing Products comes the Ultra 1/10th shock O-ring set. The seals are made from a specially formulated compound that is much less prone to “swell” under the influence of silicone shock oil meaning a better seat of the seals within the damper cartridges over a longer period of time. The O-rings also have a lower break away point compared to standard “orange” seals for a more sensitive damper action. The O-rings come in a 16-piece set, enough to equip 8 shocks, and they fit nearly all of today’s 1/10th on-road and off-road shock absorbers.

Shepherd introduce a new option part for the Velox V10 Pro in the form of a front one-way and solid axle. With the focus on easy maintenance and handling the axle setup can be changed easily from a one-way axle to a solid drive without disassembling the front end. The set includes extra hard pins to lock the high-quality one-way bearings, super light-weight outdrives machined from hardened steel, a composite pulley with washer and all the necessary mounting hardware.

The sets contain virtually all of Yeah Racing’s aluminium as well as many steel option parts such as upper and lower wishbones, hub carriers, steering upgrades, steel suspension pins, ball bearings, aluminium outdrives and many more. Included are also an alloy centre prop shaft, steel and aluminium universal driveshafts 55mm aluminium shock absorbers, a complete spring set, shock and bearing oils. Seen at the recent ETS Rd1 the RC10 TC6.2 Factory Team kit builds on the very successful ROAR and BRCA national championship-winning TC6 platform and adds many performance-enhancing upgrades which take the chassis to the next level of performance. New for the TC6.2 is the updated bulkhead, top plate and chassis configuration that allow flex to be optimized by disconnecting the drivetrain bulkheads and suspension mounting systems. This new arrangement allows a predictable flex through the entire length of chassis, giving maximum grip on any track surface. At only 88mm wide and 2.25mm thick, the new TC6.2 carbon fiber chassis remains very narrow, resulting in reduced drag during the hardest cornering.

KM Racing K8 1/8th on-road kit

KM Racing K8 1/8 on-road kit

1/10 200mm World Champions KM Racing release the first information on their forthcoming 1/8th nitro on-road car called the “Killer Eight” or K8 in short. The chassis features a super low centre of gravity design with the top deck sitting only 25mm above the main chassis, having all components mounted as low as possible. The carbon fibre upper deck is a slotted design in the steering area for added front end flex while the receiver battery is not located underneath the fuel tank but on the left side for an improved left-to-right chassis balance. Other design cues include a special centre weight system for swift and easy weight distribution and all-up weight changes and the kit includes the option of running a standard blade or wire-type front anti-roll bar. No release date is mentioned yet but KM Racing mentions the kit is “coming soon”.
