Edam Spirit & Esprit solid axle adapter

Edam release a new optional part for the Spirit and Esprit 1/10 scale on-road cars in the form of this solid axle adapter. The insert turns the gear differential into a solid axle for those who prefer to use a front one way and a spool rear axle. Best suited for high-grip surfaces as the conversion provides stability, a more linear acceleration and also saves some weight over the stock gear differential.

Futura tire cleaner

Futura cleaner has been developed to solve the problem of traction build up on your tires to keep the performance similar the next time you use them. The only way to do this is to remove the traction buildup to keep them consistent from run to run and this cleaner will remove that buildup from the tires. Cleaner is formulated for both rubber and foam tires and especially on foam tires it’s able to open the foam pore, making the tire softer and prepare it for the application of new additive.

Serpent True motion clutch

The development of the Centax clutch continues with the release of Serpent’s new true motion clutch. Serpent’s designer Ron Ton was the innovator of this revolutionary clutch system in the mid nineties and soon it became the industry standard in onroad racing as all other brands adopted similar systems. Many variations have been tried, but in the end it still comes close to the original idea. In the latest development the tapered shape has been moved from the flywheel to the pressure plate instead, improving punch and reliability. Serpent continues the use of the hard Centax spring to set preload, as its less critical and fast to adjust. The 1/10 scale Centax True motion clutch has the red shoe and steel clutch housing, while the 1/8 scale Centax True motion clutch has the black shoe and aluminium clutch housing as standard.
