Japanese firm Rony Performance Parts have released their extensively tested 1/8th scale CanAm body shell, called the T-530. Made from 0.8mm thick polycarbonate this new shell has proven itself to be very effective, featuring a long nose which provides plenty of high speed steering while the body is also optimised to be very stable. Parma have begun selling their new Pro 38 on-road racing tires for 1/12th scale chassis’. These new Pro tires feature a larger 38mm wheel for improved performance and handling while the overall diameter is the same as their standard tires, thus creating a lower profile rubber. Suitable for all popular 1/12 race cars, and available for front and rear, it is 100% guaranteed not to come unglued from the wheel under normal use.
Hot Bodies have released this Chassis Protect Sheet, essentially a large clear plastic sticker, to provide extra durability and protection for your chassis, whether you’re racing off-road or on road. The clear self-adhesive PTFE plastic is very slick and provides minimum friction if your car bottoms out, or slides over bumps, while the sheet keeps scratches and nicks off your graphite or aluminium chassis plate.
KM products have released this new lightweight front solid axle for use on the Kyosho range of 200mm cars. Not only is this new axle super light but its also very strong and it is designed in such a way that the drive cups, which are held in place by pins, to be easily replaced when worn eliminating the need to replace the entire axle. This axle is suitable for the Kyosho V-One RRR Evo, V-One RRR and V-One SIII.

K Factory have announced the release of their new range of mounted and trued sedan foam tires. Claiming to be unique in that they offer both good foam combined with strong, high quality wheels, these new tires are available in a range of shores from 35 to 45, and in a width of 30mm and 26mm. Another cool feature about these new tires is that they are supplied in a high tech looking, air tight, bag that keeps the tire freshness inside preventing them from drying out.
Japanese firm Potential have released, amongst other things, this new 1/12th scale Group C body shell called the Stealth. In development for several months this new shell is very near completion, with the first sales expected at the end of this month. Made using 0.6mm polycarbonate, this new shell promises more stability along with better overall grip and turning ability.
Stock touring may be a young class in Japan but is growing and the manufacturers are taking note. Following on from this weeks release of stock motors by Kyosho and Team Orion, comes this new 23T motor from Team Tectro. Meeting all class regulations as laid out by the JMRCA, this motor can easily handle the high power delivered by todays cells and thanks to a special coating the rotor can now withstand really high temperatures making it very durable.
