We have shown you lots of parts from M Mod before, as well as All Mod, and today we have more parts to show you, this time only for Mugen. The first up, which you can see above is a rear lower wishbone pivot point for the MTX4 that has been made out of the trademark grey anodised aluminium and adds to the strength required around this area in the event of an impact. Also available from M Mod, for the MBX5 and the MBX5-T, is a part that combines the upper servo saver mount and the upper rear side front suspension pivot point in one part which adds greatly to the strength and stiffness of this entire area.
Xray have released this new optional narrow upper deck for their T2’007 190mm electric touring car. Made from 2mm carbon, when mounted the car should be easier to drive because it increases overall traction and is recommended to be used on low-traction tracks, either asphalt or carpet.
This news piece is just for a bit of fun as i appreciate when people make things like this due to the work, and in this case the craftsmanship, involved in such a project. This particular project is from a guy called Rene (Serum), that judging by the other conversions he has made, knows a thing or two about making a long term project like this. As far as i know the car hasnt been driven yet but what he has done is custom make a new radio plate, motor mount, battery mount and gearbox shaft and single speed assembly and stick in a brushless system. It should be pretty wicked to see when finished.
You can check out more pictures of this project here, or see some of his other amazing pieces of work here.
Parma have announced the release of their new Pro 53 touring car foam tires, mounted on all new wheels that have been designed to meet new ROAR rules that allow an increase in the minimum inner diameter of the wheel to 53mm. The new wheel is a larger, dish style design that has superior strength with a lower profile rubber sidewall producing less flex with a stiffer, more stable driving feel.

Darkside Motorsports have announced that they are selling their 1/10th scale Oval Setup wheels, which like the Team Tamale wheels, offer the option of adjusting the virtual tire diameter by rotating the Octagonal wheel to the specified measurement.
They simulate eight different tire diameters from 2.31″ to 2.10″. Use these wheels to measure and adjust chassis ride height, track width, wheel offsets and stagger. When matched with a set of tweak scales, weight distribution can also be simulated and slight changes can be modeled with ease. The wheels are matched such that wheelbase dimensions can also be easily measured. Simply put, they provide a foundation for repeatable measurements and set-ups. Each set comes with 2 front wheels, 2 rear wheels and a re-usable storage case.
Our site partners, Kimihiko Yano, have got the lowdown on their site about this tweak board made by American company, Unity Tool Inc. As you can see from the picture, it is suitable for 1/12th scale chassis’ but also for 1/10th and 1/8th scale too, and basically allows you to measure and set your cars track width, camber, caster, toe in, toe out as well as helping you tweak your car correctly. The whole kits comes apart to be put away back in the supplied carry bag and if you havent seen this before you can see more pictures of it in its various uses here.
