ARC R12FF 1/10th scale FWD touring car kit

Introducing the R12FF, ARC’s next generation 1/10th scale FWD touring car kit. Based on the 2020 ETS FWD winning R11F, the R12FF retains its front-motor, front-wheel drive layout for maximum traction under all track conditions. Featuring all-new long suspension arms to further improve traction and deliver more corner speed. Other new features include having the motor lowered by 0.5mm compared to R11F. The all new narrow upper deck comes standard as does the battery holder for shorty and standard LiPo. All suspension parts are comparable with ARC R12 and short front suspension arms can be used on tracks with very high traction. Optional flex adjustment plates for shorty and standard LiPo configurations allows chassis flex to be easily adjusted. Other standard parts include the horizontal rear body tower, while an aluminium chassis is also available for indoor carpet tracks.

Yokomo tease BD10 successor

Yokomo have sent us a teaser for their upcoming touring car release, the follow up to the successful BD10. No information is currently given apart from what can be discerned from the blurred image, but they did tell us that team drivers Christopher Krapp and Nicholas Lee will show more details in a Facebook live on Friday the 29th of January.

Contact RC LMP12 Hex tires, arbor & spool set

New from Contact RC are these LMP12 Hex Tyres for the Eclipse 4 and other brands, using the new LMP12 hex lightweight spool set. With the evolutionary solid rear axle on the Eclipse 4 these new tyres use a single M4 nut wheel fixing. Together with quicker wheel changes and easier use, the rotating and unsprung mass has been significantly reduced, offering better performance. Flexibility has also been improved for more equal stiffness around the wheel. Truing these tyres is also easy with the wheel specific Contact RC truing arbour for hex rear and front wheels, while the tires are available in all the popular Contact compounds.

Exotek DR10 motor guard & heavy duty bumper

More new items from Exotek Racing for the Associated DR10, starting with this heavy duty 7075 machined alloy motor guard. Providing extra rigid mounting for your wheelie bar, for perfectly straight wheelies, it should be used with the stock DR10 bracket to help absorb high speed crashes and protect your bar from breaking. Also new is this heavy duty alloy, carbon fibre and foam bumper set. Details include a heavy duty alloy and carbon fibre mounting base that secures the extra wide high density foam bumper. The same high impact foam used in touring car racing. Inside the foam bumper are 3 alloy posts for extra secure foam bumper mounting. This design also allows you to experiment with adding nylon body posts onto the bumper or perhaps a lexan body lip (splitter) on the under side of the bumper. Designed to work with most street eliminator bodies, ou may opt to add extra foam layers to the front of the bumper for longer nosed bodies like the Malibu etc.

Mon-Tech Racing Imola touring car body

Mon-Tech Racing is ready to release a new touring car body platform. After 8 month of hard work and testing on multiple tracks all around the world they finally finished the development of the Imola. With flowing lines, low nose and a completely clean rear part of the body Imola has very high traction and stability in exit of the corner, without impact corner entry and cornering speed. This body was designed and developed inside the Mon-tech Racing Factory and is available in the standard with regular weight (85gr ready to race) for major international competitions and the super light ‘La Leggera’ version. Imola body is BRCA-EFRA approved and is 100% made in Italy. The kit includes the masks for the windows, the headlight decals and the fixing hardware for the rear wing.
