Brilliant RC aluminium pivot balls

Coming from Brilliant RC are new lightweight aluminium pivot balls for various nitro on-road cars. They weight in at just 1.15g for the short and 1.4g for the long variants, equalling a weight saving of about 60 percent compared to standard steel pivot balls. Thanks to a special hardcoating method the surface friction is reduced significantly while a comfortable durability is still ensured. The 8mm pivot balls feature a 2.5mm hex and fit various nitro on-road cars. They are available in sets of four pieces in two different lengths; 20mm and 26mm.

MST FXX 2.0 KMW drift car kit – Coming soon

MST have released a couple of teaser images of their forthcoming new FXX 2.0 KMW RWD drift car kit. Equipped with a front motor/rear battery design the car utilises a 3.5mm carbon fibre chassis that shifts the weight bias more towards the rear for improved traction while the new aluminium front motor mount houses the updated upper and lower alloy front arms. A new steering and revised Ackermann geometry allows for greatly increased steering angles and the rear alloy MB suspension with adjustable reactive toe enables the owner to fine-tune increase or decrease the rear slip force. A fully adjustable suspension allows to adapt the chassis perfectly to different driving styles and body shells while purple anodised alloy parts and mock-up brake discs and callipers improve visual impact. The kit will hit stores soon.

Fenix March 240 6-wheel formula body shell

Fenix Racing have released first prototype images of their forthcoming new March 240 6-wheel formula body shell. The full-scale car was developed in the crazy 1970’s that also brought the Tyrell P34 6-wheeler, however the March 240 was never used in a Formula 1 race as the ambitions project, that promised less aerodynamic drag and better traction thanks to its rear 4WD drive drivetrain, was too much to chew for a small team like March. Nevertheless it gained some popularity and the 4WD package later made it into Roy Lane’s successful hillclimb March 771. As for the 1/10th scale replica, Fenix is currently finalising its design and the body will hit the stores in kit form very soon.

Muchmore Fleta ZX8 Evolution 1/8th scale BL motor

Coming from Muchmore is their new Fleta ZX8 Evolution electric brushless motor for 1/8th scale applications. Utilising the highly machined Flow-Max Ver.II aluminium can, the motor offers greatly improved cooling efficiency, keeping its operation temperatures as low as possible even in demanding applications and extreme heat conditions. Dual sensor ports allow for easier wire routing and less chances of damaging the sensor wire near rotating drivetrain parts while the 4-pole, 8-magnet staggered-pole rotor reduces low-RPM cogging while offering a very low torque pulse. The motor is built using high RPM super low friction bearings and the rotor is equipped with an innovative hall sensor system that ensures ultra-precise throttle control. The motor measures 68.8×42.1mm and it is available in 1900kV, 2200kV, 2600kV and 3200kV variants.

Pemberton RaceWorks Slash adjustable rear arms

Pemberton RaceWorks have announced the release of their The Final Answer Traxxas Slash Edition adjustable rear arms. These arms share a design as used in the 10th scale dirt oval world, and this very same technology is now available for the ever popular Traxxas Slash platform. The product offers a great amount of track side adjustability and allow for up to 12 degrees of rear toe adjustment (+6 degrees to -6 degrees) while also allowing to access track width adjustment. The arms sport two sliding rails that are captured in the arm’s front and rear pockets. The rails can be individually positioned at various lengths creating toe-in and/or toe-out at the outer hinge pin position. Advantages of the design include no change in wheelbase while adding toe settings, and toe positioning will not move as a result of a crash or brushing the wall. Built from nearly indestructible Nylon 6-6 and aluminium, these arms are also ultra-strong and applications include dirt oval, offroad, and drag racing. The set includes arms, rails, screws, pivot balls, shims and Lunsford Titanium inner and outer hinge pins.
