SMJ Teflon battery tape

SMJ have introduced their new Teflon battery tape that will greatly lower the friction between the battery compartment surface and the battery case. Only 0.15mm thin the tape has a very low friction coefficient while not disturbing a low centre of gravity, ensuring the battery has way less influence in chassis tweak during cornering, ensuring more equal left-to-right chassis flex. The tape also offers protection to the chassis and battery case making both parts look fresh for a long time. SMJ recommend to place the tape on the lower side of the battery case instead of the main plate when running the latest breed of highly machined flex aluminium chassis.
