Mon-Tech Racing D-Duck 190mm TC body – Coming soon

Mon-Tech Racing have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming D-Duck 190mm touring car body shell. Mon-Tech is first company to respond to the latest trend of super low centre of gravity 190mm touring car body shells as they were introduced by Zoo Racing last year. The D-Duck is understood to meet GBS rules – as do the Zoo Racing bodies – while offering a more extreme design compared to Mon-Tech’s ultra popular Racer body shell. Mon-Tech Racing body hole protectors

Mon-Tech Racing from Italy have introduced their new 20-piece set of pre-cut body post hole protectors. 0.30mm thick the self-adhesive rings are made to protect the body post holes of new or used body shells, ensuring longer life by reinforcing the highly stressed area. In addition the stickers also prevent the paint from becoming scratched, making the body look good for longer. Each pack contains 20 rings, enough to outfit five on-road body shells.

T-Works BD9 hard-coated alloy spool outdrives

T-Works have introduced a set of hard-coated aluminium spool outdrives for the Yokomo BD9 touring car. They are machined from aircraft grade 7075-T6 alloy and are finished off with a hard wearing surface coating, ensuring long durability. The lightweight spool cups are designed for the use with C-blade outdrive savers and they include gold-coloured hardware.

Samix adjustable servo horns

Samix adjustable servo horns

Coming from Samix are adjustable servo horns for 23T and 25T spline servos. The arms are machined from high-quality aluminium and their design, that utilises flippable and interchangeable inserts, allows to access 17mm, 18mm, 19mm or 20mm centre hole distances, giving the ability to fine-tune steering throw and speed. The arms are of a clamping design to provide additional security and reliability when accidentally loosing the main servo horn screw and they come laser-engraved for easy identification.

Capricorn TE04 split brass suspension mounts

Coming from Capricorn and made for their TE04 touring car are new split suspension mounts cut from heavy brass material. The inner mounts help to add weight to the front, the rear or both locations at the same time, helping to shift the weight balance forth or back or add overall weight when running lightweight components. The mounts sport machined markings for easy identification and they are available now.

Kyosho have released their new Futaba-compatible receiver unit for the Mini-Z Evo car. The new replaceable receiver unit supports the 7XC and 7PX transmitters and allows to use the Mini-Z Evo cars with these popular transmitters, rather than just Kyosho and KO Propo radios.

Hudy 1/8th on-road aluminium setup wheels

Hudy’s popular aluminium setup wheels are now also available in a variant specific to 1/8th on-road vehicles. Ideal for setup and tweak correction duties, the wheels bolt on just like normal wheels, however due to their high precision they help when adjusting suspension camber or toe setting. The wheels are machined from aluminium, they come black anodised and with white, laser-etched markings and they fit all of today’s nitro and electric-powered 1/8th on-road cars.

Yokomo SP-02D RWD drift car servo

Yokomo have introduced the SP-02D, a specialised servo for RWD drift cars. Designed especially for the use with gyroscope units and thoroughly tested by Yokomo’s team drivers, the servo does away with issues such as humming, shaking and general inaccurate performance, problems that are associated with different servo and gyro combinations and settings. The standard voltage low-profile servo pulls up to 12kg-cm of torque at speeds of down to 0.093s, it utilises a coreless motor, offers smooth steering characteristics ideal for RWD cars and it will hit stores by the end of March.
