Kyosho V-One R4 Evo 2 optional springs

Coming from Kyosho and made for the V-One R4 Evo 2 1/10th 200mm kit are two new optional springs. Available in pink 1.5x4x23/3.3 and green 1.6x4x23/4.2 specification the springs were developed for the use with foam tyres and they come colour-coded for easy identification.

Roche 1S LiPo competition battery packs

Roche have introduced their new 2019 competition 1S LiPo battery packs for 1/12th scale applications. Available as 8100mAh 3.7V standard and 8000mAh 3.8V LiHV variant, both packs are built from highest quality 110C cells and they come in protective hardcases with 5mm bullet-type connectors. The packs are built to meet ROAR and BRCA rules and they will hot stores soon.

Blitz M49 M-class body shell

Coming from Blitz is the M49 body shell for 225mm wheelbase M-class cars. The 1940’s American style car brings a totally different look to Tamiya M-chassis and similar cars with the included rear wing also pleasing performance-oriented racers. The hot rod body shell comes in lightweight 0.8mm thickness and including window masks and a decal sheet.

Infinity IF18 hard suspension parts

In preparation for the 2019 season, Infinity has released a selection of new “hard” suspension parts for its World Championship winning IF18. Made from harder material than the standard kit parts, drivers can avail of front & rear suspension arms and a front suspension holder in the new material. The new parts greatly reduce flex which in the front arm gives the benefit of increased response at high speed and improved consistency in high grip and high temperature conditions. The harder rear arm brings an increase in rear traction along with also improving consistency in high grip and high temperature conditions. Creating the same reduced flex and improved consistency, the front suspension holder also offers an extra set-up option between the standard mount and the optional Aluminium Version providing a slightly milder feeling then that of the aluminium option.

1up Racing TC7.2 DTCv2 conversion kit

Coming from 1up Racing is the Dynamic Toe Control DTCv2 conversion kit for the Team Associated TC7.2 touring car. Based on the back-to-back ROAR National Championships winning design the v2 variant offers a stronger, lighter and more versatile design with the knuckles, hubs, and turnbuckles are all precision machined from aircraft grade 7075-T6 alloy. The knuckle is suspended between two ball bearings for the smoothest movement possible while the outer camber link ball stud threads directly into the hub ensuring there is no bind as the knuckle goes through the dynamic movement. 2.5mm thick carbon fibre arms extend forward from the knuckles. Black anodised aluminium locknuts and shims are included standard. Hardened steel is used for the inner and outer ball studs. The conversion uses 100 percent genuine 1up Racing parts and adds 28 percent less weight than the original for an ultra low CG design with the weight moved towards the centre of the car. In addition the new hub offers axle height adjustment, using a low position for increased stability on high grip tracks, or a raised knuckle for increased off-power steering on low grip tracks. The DTCv2 hubs mount to the stock rear arms with standard hardware. Switching back and forth between the stock rear hub and the DTCv2 hub assembly is quick and easy. The conversion can be paired with 1up Racing’s forthcoming TC7.2 +1.5• and +2• pivot blocks for even more tuning options. These will allow to run a straight inner rear hinge pin without making the car too narrow. The conversion comes completely assembled and required four ball cups for installation.

Icon RC TC7.2 alloy spool outdrives & Pro Pack

Icon RC from Italy have announced the release of new option parts for the Team Associated TC7.2 touring car in the form of aluminium front spool outdrives and the Pro Pack alloy chassis and outdrive combo. Starting with the outdrives, the parts are machined from Swiss 7075-T6 aluminium and they come with a hard PTFE coating for wear. The outdrives were developed for the use with the included Team Associated ASC31238 blades for reduced drivetrain wear and they also scrub about 60 percent of weight compared to the standard steel parts, weighing in at only 3.5g a pair. As for the Pro Pack, the combo package includes the above alloy outdrives and also the recently introduced aluminium ultraflex chassis.
