Kyosho Mini-Z Evo EX-series receiver unit

Kyosho have announced the soon release of a Kyosho and KO Propo EX-series compatible receiver unit for the Mini-Z Evo car. The receiver unit supports the KT-18 (ASF only) and EX-6/EX-6R (ASF and MHS) transmitters and it is also usable with KO Propo’s EX-2 and EX-RR (MHS only) transmitters. The new replaceable receiver units allow to use the Mini-Z Evo cars with a range of different transmitters, including non-Kyosho and KO Propo types with more receivers being available soon.

Tamiya 1/14 Buggyra Fat Fox TT-01 Type-E race truck

The next in the line of Tamiya’s popular TT-01 Type-E-based race trucks is the Buggyra Fat Fox kit. This model recreates the Buggyra Racing Fat Fox piloted in the 2018 season of the European truck racing circuit by 2017 champion Adam Lacko. The realistic body is a 3-piece set made from lightweight and durable polycarbonate, with separately moulded plastic side mirrors, coupler and rear bumper parts. The TT-01 Type-E chassis is a proven performer, and this chassis is fitted with dedicated semi-truck wheels and tyres for the model. The bathtub frame of the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery close to the ground for lower centre of gravity and optimum balance. Mounted on the bathtub frame is a fibreglass reinforced nylon upper deck and gear covers improving rigidity, as well as a 3-piece tie rod providing a smoother steering action. The low center of gravity, great balanced design, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and rear differential gears all come together to produce excellent operating ability. 70mm-diameter radial tires are paired with wheels developed just for this model; the high sidewalls make for forgiving turns. Yeah Racing YD2 graphite spur gear cover

Yeah Racing have introduced a graphite spur gear cover for the Yokomo YD2 series of RWD drift cars. The carbon fibre plate ensures an evenly mounted spur gear for less noise and greater drivetrain efficiency while also adding to the overall appearance. The plate is good for the use with 48 pitch gears larger than 83T and it also fits Overdose spur gear mounts.

T-Works BD9 titanium suspension pin sets

Coming from T-Works are several titanium suspension pin sets for the Yokomo BD9 touring car. Available now is a full 8-piece kit of inner and out shafts to deck out a complete car and also 2-piece sets of 3×44.8mm inner or 3x25mm outer shafts as a replacement or for spares and repair. The shafts are machined from high quality 64 grade titanium and they come with a polished finish for smooth suspension action.

Traxxas 330 & 400 series servos

Traxxas have introduced their new 330 and 400 series servo for 1/10th scale applications. They combine maximum steering authority with a long list of high performance features. Both servos utilise steel gears, dual ball bearings, and an aluminium centre section for added heat dissipation. They are fully waterproof with a perfect factory fit in nearly all 1/10 scale Traxxas RC vehicles and they are fully compatible with the Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) and provide noticeably faster steering response than stock servos. Available are the 330 Blue (0.19s/330 ounce-inch) servo for kits such as the TRX-4 trail truck and the 400 Red (0.15s/400 ounce-inch) for vehicles such as the Unlimited Desert Racer, E-Revo VXL and more.

O.S. Speed T1203 limited edition engine

O.S. Engines have announced the soon release of their limited edition T1203 engine to celebrate the 2018 IFMAR 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring Car World Championship title. Infinity’s Naoto Matsukura brought home the title with a prototype of the recently announced T1203 and as a commemorative edition, O.S. have introduced the “Gold Reducer” variant that will feature a 24K gold-plated 5.5mm venturi insert. As for the engine, the specific port timing ensures exceptional millage while upping low to mid-RPM torque, making the engine ideal especially for high-grip surfaces while the specially shaped engine head ensures improved cooling and temperate stability even in changing weather conditions. The limited edition engine will become available separately or including a T-1070SC and M-1006SC exhaust set.

Infinity IF15 front shock tower Ver.B

Reigning 1/8th and 1/10th Nitro Onroad World Champion manufacturer Infinity has released a new optional front shock tower for its 200mm Nitro Touring WC title winning IF15. The Version B tower allows the shocks to be set in a lower lay down position to that of the standard kit version. A 2mm collar is included with the new tower to prevent the shock from touching the bulkhead.

7075.it LCG System touring car chassis & weight sets

Coming from 7075.it are four aluminium chassis and combo sets for touring cars such as the Awesomatix A800, Infinity IF14, Team Associated TC7.2 and Xray T4’19. All chassis are machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium and they feature a flex design for optimised torsional flex while pockets along the centre line allow the mounting of dedicated brass centre weights in order to fine-tune overall weight and weight bias. The low-profile weights protrude from the chassis by only 3mm, compared to the previous 6mm, ensuring a lower overall centre of gravity and thus faster cornering in high-grip track conditions. Weights available for now include 8g front weights, a 25g low-profile centre weight and a tall 50g centre variant. The keyed weights are mounted using a single screw and are easy to add and remove, with the A800 chassis also allowing to use the 8g front weights as additional centre variants. The chassis come black anodised for wear and looks and they are available separately or including a brass weight set.
