EcoPower WP110T & WP120T waterproof servos

Coming from AMain Hobbies’ EcoPower brand are two new waterproof servos. The standard voltage WP110T (0.16s/20.1kg-cm) and WP120T (0.09s/28.8kg-cm) are an ideal upgrade for ready-to-run cars, trucks and rock crawlers and they feature metal gears, dual ball bearings and lightweight upper and lower cases with aluminium centre sections. The WP110T is powered by a cored DC motor while the high-voltage compatible WP120T utilises a coreless motor. EcoPower recommends the WP110T servo for all 1/10-scale applications, while the higher power WP120T would be best suited for heavy monster trucks, 1/8-scale vehicles and crawlers.

Gizmo Racing 2019 Beta touring car kit

Gizmo Racing USA have introduced the latest incarnation of the Gizmo Racing electric touring car kit, called the 2019 Beta. The Beta, in short, is a limited edition replica of the prototype car the team has been running recently.  The car uses the GZ2 suspension components, however it utilises a simplified drivetrain that does away with he infamous double main gear setup in favour of a more traditional setup. Reflex Racing has been approached by many people wanting to be a part of the development of this platform and this is where the new program kicks in. Buyers of the Beta kit will be a part of the development program for the production platform that we will shoot to release in September/ October. Reflex Racing are offering three different levels of the Beta cars in both alloy and carbon versions: a conversion kit, a Beta Kit and a Beta Team Plus kit. The Beta conversion allows racers to turn a GZ2 into a 2019 Beta. The Beta Kit is a 2019 roller kit and the Beta Team Plus kit includes the kit, plus whatever revised items the production kits include and a discount on parts and accessories for the 2019 and 2020 racing season.

RCLabHK roll out Project 4X Evo CF options

Newly founded brand RCLabHK from Hong Kong have introduced a handful of carbon fibre option parts for the Serpent Project 4X Evo touring car in the form of a bulkhead stiffener and a 3mm battery mount. The bulkhead stiffeners are used to brace the left and right bulkhead in order to improve performance on high-grip carpet and asphalt surfaces as they reinforce the bulkhead area for less overall chassis flex which comes in handy especially in high traction conditions. The 2mm stiffeners come separately and including hardware such as M3x20mm screws and 4x3mm or 4x2mm bushings. Also new are the front and rear battery mounts machined from 3mm carbon fibre. Using the parts will improve battery fixing and thus overall reliability.
