T-Works T4 DLC-coated suspension pin set

Coming from T-Works and made for the Xray T4 touring car is a DLC-coated suspension pin set. The exclusive coating is known from the crankshafts of nitro engines where it reduces wear and tear of the shaft and conrod as the Diamond Like Coat will reduce friction and stress on the surface. The suspension pins’ slick surface will improve suspension efficiency while the dark colour adds a cool look to the lower areas of the chassis. Included in the set, that is usable with the 2016 to 2018 variants of the T4, are front and rear inner and outer shafts that are also available separately.

Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0 drift tyres & spool assembly

Traxxas have introduced a new line of drift tyres as well as a spool assembly for the 4-Tec 2.0 on-road car. Starting with the hard-compound plastic tyres, they provide the perfect combination of durability and breakaway potential for any drifting surface. Tough enough for carpet, concrete, or even asphalt, these tyres hold up battle after battle. Precision-glued at the factory, the pre-mounts come in both narrow front and wide rear configurations. Orange, green, or black chrome rim colours help to add a splash of colour or match the body’s design. Also new is the optional differential spool that locks the front or rear axles for predictable breakaway. The set includes all needed parts to replace the standard differential.

Exotek Exo-Six alloy gearbox & CF shock towers

Exotek have introduced new option part for the Exo-Six conversion kit in the form of an aluminium gearbox set, carbon fibre shock towers and a 48 pitch main gear. Starting with the gearbox, the bulkhead is machined from 7075 alloy and provides a solid tweak-free design that is about 8g lighter than each of the stock plastic gear boxes for a substantially lower centre of gravity and thus improved chassis roll. New camber mounting points are more inboard for smoother handling when running longer camber link lengths and more robust to resist breakages as in the stock plastic mounts. Additional features include new centre hold sway bar guide for less weight and easier alignment and raised 2mm top plate mounts allow for easier access to the motor screws and battery plugs. Last but not least do precise bearing guides make for a much more free drive train versus stock.

Updated Tycoon Speed & Race fuel blends

RMV have introduced updated Tycoon off-road and on-road fuel blends for the 2018 season. Xray XB8 series soft composite chassis sideguards

Xray have introduced new soft composite chassis sideguards for all XB8 series vehicles such as the XB8 buggies, XT8 trucks and GTX8 on-road cars. The side pods, moulded from a softer-than-stock composite material sport a larger bottom radius to make the car more stable on rough tracks while increasing the car’s longitudinal flex for improved traction on low-grip surfaces. The sideguards come in sets of two.

Xpress Execute XQ1 hard suspension arms

Coming from Xpress and made for the Execute XQ1 touring car are hard lower suspension arms. The wishbones are made from a harder compound material and offer less flex for improved suspension efficiency and a more controlled ride especially in medium to high-bite track conditions. In addition the harder arms are more durable than the original plastics and they improve car handling in high ambient temperatures.

Yokomo BD8-2018 hard 2.5mm carbon fibre chassis

Yokomo have introduced a hard 2.5mm carbon fibre chassis for the BD8-2018 touring car. The chassis is 0.25mm thicker than the standard carbon fibre main plate for less torsional flex which is helpful especially in high-bite carpet and asphalt racing conditions. In addition the chassis is of a different shape in the B and C mount area – in front and behind the battery and electronic compartments –  optimising torsional and pitch flex for an easier driving feeling. The main plate is a direct fit on the 2018 car and available now.
