Axon clear chassis protection film

Coming soon from Axon is a clear protection film that was designed to fit in the battery area of the chassis plate. Only 0.1mm thick and offering moderate slip, the protection decal is virtually invisible while ensuring exceptional protection from scratches and damages that can occur when dust or dirt collects under the battery pack during a run, ensuring the chassis will look like new for a long time. Due to not sticking to the battery pack, the protective film also only has minimal influence on the natural chassis flex. The product will hit stores about mid-April.

Tamiya TB-05 Pro touring car kit

Following first information on their forthcoming TB-05 Pro 1/10th scale touring car kit, Tamiya now released more information and also an image of the shaft-driven intermediate-level on-road kit. As expected the car will make use of the exoskeleton design that made the TA-07 Pro and M-07 Concept famous with the chassis looking like the TA-07 Pro but with the drivetrain layout of the TB Evo7 tourer – of which the TB-05 Pro will also adapt the ability for a front or rear motor position. Other features will include TB-04 design gear differential units, ball bearings, universal driveshafts as well as long TRF shocks, TA-07 Pro suspension components, a bulkhead-mounted steering assembly, and blue colour turnbuckles. The kit is compatible with TRF419-style swaybars and wheels and a high-torque servo saver will come standard with the kit.
