Kyosho MP9 & GT3 hard rear hub carrier set

Kyosho have introduced an optional hard rear hub carrier set for the MP9 and GT3 series of cars. The hubs are moulded from a harder composite material than the standard parts for increased stability and less flex under load, something that can be beneficial and create increased traction when running on very high grip surfaces.

Reedy Sonic 866 & 877 1/8th brushless motors

Coming from Reedy are two new Sonic-series 1/8th scale competition electric brushless motors in the form of the 866 and 877. The Sonic 866, available in two kV versions, is designed for 1/8th eBuggies while its slightly longer brother, the Sonic 877, is intended for 1/8th eTruggy duty. However, motors are interchangeable between chassis types to create a wide range of performance options suitable for a wide variety of track conditions. All versions feature a precision machined case with an integrated heat sink to lower operating temperatures. This results in less fade over the course of a race, longer run times, and increased motor life. Sensored operation results in a smooth and controllable power band, while a powerful 4-pole rotor is supported by precision ball bearings for maximum power output and reliability.

SMC Low Rider modified motor

SMC have introduced the somewhat radical Low Rider 540-size modified brushless motor. Designed to offer maximum drivability with a linear power delivery and still tons of top end, the motor also features a minimised the outer diameter, shedding the useless can and shrinking the length as much as the rules allow to. The small package drops the weight more than 17 percent from SMC’s Totemic Modified platform. And by utilising the new diameter, the mounting holes are offset to lower the motor in the motor mount. This leads to a light motor slung way down in your chassis.
