Helix Designs Original Perfect Edge tire gluer

Coming from Helix Designs is the new Original Perfect Edge tire gluer for 1/10th on-road tires. First introduced by Helix Designs’ own Kyle Klingforth at the 2016 IIC, the tire gluer is of a compact design and it makes use of a high-torque motor that will not stall when glueing side walls, which can be the hot setup when racing on the latest generation of high-grip carpets. Common-size glue template discs for gluing 59mm (low grip), 59.5mm (medium grip), and 60mm (high grip) sidewalls are included to ensure racers are set-up from the get-go. Helix Designs also have some options for those needing to glue F1/GTR tires or want to customise their gluer by adding their name or nick name in various colours.

Schumacher Atom/CC low-profile front end

Made for the Atom and Atom CC GT12 pan cars is Schumacher’s new low-profile front end. The key benefits are a reduced king pin offset that is making the car easier to drive while also giving a more linear feeling due to better flex and geometry. The front end also allows for quick and easy camber adjustment with one nut and an adjustable ride height with shims under four points, independent of caster adjustment. Finally it gives more adjustment of the ride height on the kingpin. The assembly requires the #U4866 alloy hub carriers as it cannot be used with kit hub carriers.

ARC R11 2018 electric touring car kit

ARC have introduced the 2018 variant of their popular R11 1/10th 4WD electric touring car kit. The car utilises some subtle changes compared to the previous version, such as a new carbon fibre chassis and topdeck whose high-grade graphite material and refined manufacturing process will ensure maximised flatness and an optimised balance between hardness and flexibility. The kit is prepared for the direct use of the recently introduced SRS super response servo whose integrated mounts will make for a 10g weight saving compared to the standard mount. Also new and possibly the biggest change for the 2018 kit are all-new front and rear suspension mounts that now allow to use inserts to adjust the toe settings while also allowing to fine-tune the track width. A total of nine different settings are accessible while the roll centre adjustment is still carried out using shims to raise or lower the suspension mounts and thus arm pins.
