BMT from Italy have introduced the high traction rear end upgrade set for the 984 on-road car. The included parts move the inner lower suspension pins closer together which results in improved overall traction, stability and higher corner speeds. On top of this the rear end is also more stable under braking. Included comes a new rear bulkhead cover, a new rear lower arm mount and redesigned, longer damper mounts.

Coming from Samix and made for the Serpent Cobra GT 2.0 and 3.0 are the version 2 aluminium gear box covers. The braces allow for easier gear mesh adjustment due to giving better visibility of the parts involved, plus they are also light of weight and add visual impact. The parts are available in orange or gun metal anodising.

Coming from Italian company WRC Racing is a new aluminium main chassis and lower motor pod plate for the F-One formula car. Machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium and coming black anodised for wear the chassis offers a second set of front end mounting holes to adjust the car’s wheelbase while the rear pod plate offers a stepped centre pivot hole over the standard countersunk fixing point as found of the kit’s carbon fibre plate. It is understood that this feature will make it easier to built a bind-free rear suspension.
Information about forthcoming Tamiya (re-)release kits is coming in thick and fast these days as the Japanese company is set for more re- and new releases this year. Following some interesting re-releases such as the Bigwig 2017 and Top Force 2017, Tamiya will reportedly also re-issue the Grasshopper II alongside new releases such as the DT-03 based Racing Fighter Chrome entry-level 2WD buggy, the Ferrari F12TdF and the MAN TGS Team Reinert Racing truck. Coming from Reflex Racing are an aluminium main chassis and lower pod plate kit for the Yokomo YRX12 as well as a hard wide bumper and bumper brace kit for the Team Associated TC7.1. Starting with the Yokomo parts, the chassis and lower pod plate were designed for racing on high-bite CRC black carpet and they will increase stability and enhance traction under high-bite conditions. Both parts are machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium, they come black anodised and with machined silver edge details.
T-Works have introduced three steering limiter screw sets for the Yokomo BD8 and BD7’16 and ’15 kits. Machined from aluminium, coming black anodised and with silver details the parts directly attach to the steering assembly of Yokomo’s latest touring car kits and they help to create defined and wobble-free mechanical steering limiting. Available are three sets including 7mm to 8.5mm diameter screws, 7mm to 10mm or 9mm to 10mm limiters.
Team Titan have introduced the Blitz carbon fibre bodyshell stiffeners for 1/8th on-road bodies. The 5-piece set includes two front, two centre and a large rear stiffener. All are specially shaped with thin upper and side sections but reinforced bends to allow for high rigidity yet a light weight. The parts are usable with the Blitz 1/8th on-road bodies and also many other brands and they come including a set of lightweight bolts for easy mounting.
Coming from Capricorn and made for the C803 1/8th on-road car is a new short lower wishbone set. The arms are shorter but use longer supports to maintain the given track width. Using them makes for an updated dynamic camber change which can be beneficial in certain track conditions. Included with the set come the new lower A-arms, arm mounts, suspension shafts and grub screws.
