Xray 64 pitch 90T offset spur gear

Coming from Xray is a 64 pitch 90T offset spur gear for the T4 line of touring cars. Precision moulded and strategically lightened for a reduced weight the gear is made from a hard composite material for long wear and quiet operation. The smallest Xray touring car main gear yet adds to the already existing range of 92T to 118T gears and it is ideal for high-turn stock motor classes.

Awesomatix A800X 2017 touring car kit

Coming soon from Awesomatix is the A800X touring car kit. The 2017 version of the popular touring car will feature several improvements, refinements and option parts including updated main chassis plates with updated flex, suspension and drivetrain geometry. Adding to this is a redesigned top deck with new flex adjustment and updated ST55 and ST019 parts while new bulkheads and a new motor mount are also part of the 2017 package. Other parts included are updated eccentric diff holders for altered axle heights, as well as a ball-raced swaybar system with integrated droop adjustment feature, a new spool and 38T pulley, and new damper mounts with limited A and B setting adjustment. The kit is rounded out by new SPR02X damper output shafts, AM06WL hubs, optimised geometry C01M1 carbon A-arms as well as the linear steering rack. The A800X is available as 2.2 carbon fibre chassis, soft alloy and hard alloy chassis variant and it will hit stores in the coming weeks.

Tesla 13.5T Modified brushless motor

Italian company Capricorn have introduced their new 13.5T Modified brushless motor for “outlaw” stock racing classes. Made using the highest quality materials the motor offers an updated design for improved performance over standard stock motors and it features an adjustable timing to adapt the powerband to various racing conditions.

Avid M4 domed titanium droop screws

Coming from Avid are domed M4 titanium droop screws for most of today’s 1/10th touring cars. The M4x8mm screws are domed at the end to help prevent digging and grabbing of the chassis while the lightweight billet 6Al-4V titanium material makes for a very low weight of only 0.25g per piece. The screws are broached with a 2mm allen head on the outer side for easy installation and removal an they come in packs of four to outfit one touring car.

Active Hobby Products liquid bottle marker

Active Hobby Products have introduced the liquid bottle marker, a dedicated container and applicator for tyre traction compounds. Featuring a specially shaped square-type foam applicator that helps to apply tyre sauces more evenly, the bottle is usable with touring and formula rubber wheels but it is also good for the use with 1/10th and 1/12th foam tyres.

Active Hobby TA07 Pro bumper support & bend stop

Japanese company Active Hobby Products have released two new option parts for Tamiya’s TA07 Pro touring car in the form of a carbon fibre bumper brace and an aluminium bend protection. Starting with the bumper support, the carbon fibre brace helps to keep the foam bumper in place during heavy racing action while also supporting the body mount posts. The CNC-machined part is a direct replacement usable for all TA07-style bumpers.

Yokomo Racing Performer drift car wheels

Yokomo have released two new Racing Performer drift car wheels. Available in a 5-spoke and a 6-spoke variant the wheels offer high rigidity and exceptional precision, resulting in more overall grip. The wheels come in 6mm and 8mm offset variants, in black or white colour, with the 5-spoke rim being available now and the 6-spoke variant hitting stores mid-January.

Yokomo CRT 1/12th scale foam tyres

Coming from Yokomo are the CRT foam tyres for 1/12th scale pan car racing. They are unique the a way that they utilise different diameter foam rings, allowing to use the inner ring as it is while the outer ring need to be cut to 115mm of length before using it on 37mm diameter wheels for practice purposes. Each foam ring is 3mm thick meaning the tyres are nearly race ready to current standards. The CRT foams are available in several compounds such as the L rubber for high-grip CRC carpet, the intermediate R variant for all-round and low traction use while the S compound is best suited for mid-traction ETS-style carpet. The L and S rubber is available for the front and rear while the R compound comes for the rear end exclusively and each set includes a total of eight rings, four small and four large.
