French company RC Concept have new accessories available in the form of sensor cables, silicone wires and 4mm connectors. Starting with the sensor cables, they are available in six different sizes including 50mm, 100mm, 150mm, 200mm, 250mm and 300mm all of which come in all-black colour for looks and mesh covered for best possible protection. Also new is 12AWG and 14AWG silicone wire in black, red or white colour. The highly flexible wire comes in packs of 1 metre. Last but not least are 4mm bullet-type connectors. The gold-plated male plugs are of the now-standard 4-cut type for an increased contact patch and they feature pre-shaped soldering areas, making for neat soldering jobs. The connectors are available in convenient packs of 10 pieces.

WRC LM16 1/10th pan car kit

WRC LM16 1/10th pan car kit

Italian company WRC have introduced the LM16 1/10th scale pan car kit. Resembling a Le Mans prototype car the vehicle is based off of the company’s F-One formula car kit and it features a newly designed front bumper and body mount, a new rear upper battery and damper mount plate as well as carbon fibre rear body mounts. The dominating part of the kit, the Pro1 called body – including a separate, adjustable rear wing – finishes off the kit and it is also available separately to equip most of today’s formula cars using adapters made by WRC.

Infinity 1/8th nitro on-road car – Official images

Creation Model have released first official images of the forthcoming Infinity 1/8th nitro on-road kit. The Masao Tanaka designed car is ready for release in the Asian area and it will become available in Europe shortly after Chinese New Year, meaning around beginning of March. Li Jiawei & Cong win at Spring Cup

The recent Spring Cup in China attracted about 70 drivers to attend in four different 1/10th scale nitro and electric classes. A wet track in the morning as well as cold and snowy weather made things pretty unpleasant for the drivers and the race was postponed until 11:30 am to allow the track to become usable. Gerry Li Jiawei (Xray) would take the TQ in the Electric Touring class and although he used harder, less appropriate tyres for the A-main, he was able to bring home the win from Liu Rong (Xray) in second and Alfred Lao Min Hao (Xray) in third.

Tamiya MF-01X aluminium centre driveshafts

Coming soon from Tamiya are three aluminium centre driveshafts for the MF-01X 4WD chassis. The shafts are machined from high-quality aluminium and they come blue anodised and laser-etched for easy identification. They are designed to replace the standard steel shaft and due to the lower rotation mass acceleration and braking are greatly improved. The shafts are available as 173mm shaft for 210mm wheelbase chassis, as 188mm variant for 225mm wheelbase cars and as 203mm shaft for 239mm wheelbase vehicles.

Team Magic E4RS III 1-piece inner arm mounts

Coming from Team Magic and made for the E4RS III and III Plus touring car are four new 1-piece inner arm mounts. Made to replace the standard split arm mounts the parts help to adjust the chassis flex as they offer a higher rigidity than the 2-piece blocks. The CNC-machined and black anodised aluminium mounts are available as front FR and rear RF part in 0 or -2 configuration.

Team C TC10 carbon steering stiffener set

Team C TC10 carbon steering stiffener set

New from Team C and made for the TC10 and TR10 1/10th electric touring cars is a carbon fibre steering stiffener set. The set connects the steering posts with the inner floating steering servo mount to reinforce the front section of the chassis. It is understood that the assembly also allows to run the car with a floating steering which in turn makes for less influence of the chassis flex on the steering characteristics. Included in the set are new inner and outer servo mounts, a carbon fibre upper plate as well as a carbon fibre steering post brace.

SMJ BD7-2015 low-profile shock towers

Coming from SMJ and made for the Yokomo BD7-2015 are low-profile shock towers. The parts are cut from high-quality carbon fibre and they allow the use of short shock absorbers such as the ones of the BD7-2016 on the older spec 2015 car. The shock tower set is available from mid-February in limited quantities.
