Kyle McBride joins SWorkz factory team

Top Australian racer Kyle McBride has joined the SWorkz factory race team for 2022 and beyond. The former Tekno driver made the announcement on his social media saying ‘I am extremely proud and over the moon to finally announce to the world that I have officially signed and will be a professional RC driver for Team Sworkz for 2022 and beyond! I want to give a sincere and special thank you to Max Sonnleitner and Scott Yang for officially bringing me on board to the team and company. We have many big plans together and I look forward to growing a strong relationship and working towards all of our goals and dreams together!’

Riccardo Berton joins HotRace tyres

Italian company HotRace tyres has announced the signing of current European 1/8th Nitro Buggy champion, Riccardo Berton in their team. The Infinity team driver had the following to say about his new signing:

I decided to join Hot Race as I think the quality of the products they have can help me to race and compete always at the maximum level. I really look forward to work with Nicola, improve, share my knowledge and help all the HotRace’s customer around the world. Grazie Nicola!

Juan Carlos Canas to run TPro tires & batteries

SWorkz have announced that Juan Carlos Canas will run TPro in the coming seasons. He will use both their tires and batteries in his Sworkz cars. Max Sonnleitner said ‘I am extremely happy that Juan is now also using our tires. We are working together since many years and his tire decision shows the performance of our TPro tires. Batteries will complete the package for Juan, showing that he seams to be feeling very well in the factory team.’

Michal Orlowski joins Sunpadow batteries

Sunpadow is proud to announce that they have signed a contract with top European driver Michal Orlowski. The Polish driver has achieved many good results in various high-level events, including two European championships, two podiums at the IFMAR Worlds and the double wins in 2019/2020 EOS 1/10 2wd and 4wd class. Michal will use Sunpadow LiPo batteries to participate in all competitions in the coming year. He said, ‘I am very excited about joining the Sunpadow factory team for 2022! The batteries they produce are the cutting edge in the RC industry and I am looking forward to having a lot of success with the Sunpadow products. Tanner Denney joins SWorkz factory team

SWorkz have announced that top US racer Tanner Denney is joining their team for the next years. Tanner will race SWorkz cars in 1/8 and 1/10 offroad. He had this to say ‘I would like to thank Max and Georg at SWorkz for the incredible opportunity, and the warm welcome. Marco Baruffolo joins Tekno RC

Tekno RC have announced the addition of Italian front-runner Marco Baruffolo to the Tekno RC family. Marco will be racing their full line of vehicles at major events throughout the world and together with their International Team Manager Ilias Arkoudaris, Marco will restart Tekno RC’s European racing presence after International R/C competition was brought to a near halt by the pandemic. The multiple National Champion said, ‘I am really excited to take part at TeknoRC family! Thanks to Daniel and Ilias for this awesome opportunity, I will do my best!’

Moon & Brown win at EssexCarpetClash Rd3

Last weekend was round 3 of EssexCarpetClash4 and the drivers arrived to find a track layout that was to test a lot of people’s skills on track. A little more technical from previous rounds and included a cross over, but getting the lap correct would pay dividends on the timing sheet. In 2wd, Ellis Stafford found his feet easily taking the 1st 2 rounds and looked comfortable to take pole. Kyle moon had other thoughts and would take the last 2 rounds and took pole position having had a better time, demoting Stafford to the 2 spot. Harley Eldridge lined up 3rd ahead of Richard Gasson who had a good qualifying.

Antonia Kovalszki joins SWorkz junior factory team

SWorkz have announced the signing of top young Austrian driver Antonia Kovalszki to their junior factory team. She will run SWorkz 1/10 and 1/8 cars in the next years. On the deal, Sworkz’ team manager Max Sonnleitner said ‘I am extremely happy that Antonia has chosen SWorkz for her future home. For sure she is one of the greatest female talents in RC.’
