Reedy Zappers SG3 Competition 2S LiHV batteries

Reedy have introduced their new Zappers SG3 Competition 2S LiHV batteries for the 2020 season. They feature state-of-the-art silicon graphene LiPo cell chemistry with an emphasis on lower internal resistance with improved durability and cycle-life, resulting in more power, improved durability, and high capacity for exceptional performance. Zappers SG3 batteries feature a 7.6 nominal voltage, which means that the battery can be safely charged to 4.35V/cell. Even when the typical 8.40V charging limit is enforced, Zappers SG3 cells shine thanks to their inherently flat discharge curve, which results in higher voltage deeper into the race. The standard footprint stick line-up includes a 9600mAh 85C Stick (25.1mm/335g), 8200mAh 115C Stick (25.1mm/318g), 6000mAh 115C LP Stick (22.5mm/270g), and 5500mAh 85C ULP (19.5mm/230g). The shorty line up feature a 6100mAh 85C (25.1mm/225g), 4800mAh 115C (25.1mm/205g), 4100mAh 85C LP (18.5mm/155g), and a 3600mAh 115C LP (18.5mm/154g) battery pack. A high quality, durable hard case helps prevent damage while embedded socket connectors keep power-robbing resistance to a minimum. Male ESC connectors are included.

JConcepts BAJR V2 sand rail body shell

JConcepts have introduced their new BAJR V2 sand rail body shell for Slash 2WD and 4×4 trucks. Pronounced badger, the round Baja-esque profile of the cab area gives that familiar desert appearance. As the design develops toward the rear, the pronounced roof stabilising fin is large and in charge and rear deck area makes this body unmistakably JConcepts. An included rear wing with hardware adds rear downforce and aggressive sand throwing looks. The BAJR V2 is all about being unique, competition ready and concept inspired. The body fits the Traxxas Slash 2WD and 4×4 as well as equivalent vehicles and it can be run with a multitude of tyre styles. As usual the body comes clear, including window masks and a decal sheet.

PerfTec GraviDisk Tungsten balance weights

Dutch company PerfTec have introduced their new GraviDisk Tungsten balance weights. Designed for the use with pretty much every on-road and off-road car, the weights are of a very compact design that could be achieved by using high-density Tungsten metal, a material that offers about double the density of bronze and 2.5-times the density of steel, meaning at the same weight of a bronze or steel weight, Tungsten weights are significantly smaller, allowing for easier placement and less wasted chassis space. The basic disc design was chosen to simplify production of the unique metal in order to keep the discs affordable for racers of all levels. The weight discs have an outside diameter of 13mm and are available in two heights: 2.5mm, weighing 6g and 4.0mm, weighing in at 9.5g a piece. The stackable weights feature an inner 3mm hole, making attachment to chassis plates using spare chassis holes a breeze. The GraviDisk weights come as 2-piece sets of the same dimension/weight or as 4-piece set containing two of each weight. The set also includes stainless steel M3 mounting hardware in the form of countersunk screws and self-locking nuts – all packed in a handy stackable box that can be re-used for storing all sorts of RC hardware.

Hudy ultra thin double-sided tape

Coming from Hudy is their new ultra thin double-sided tape that is perfect to mount receivers, speed controllers or balance weights. The tape comes in 140x50mm strips and due to being ultra thin it allows to place electronics much lower compared to standard thickness tape, which not only looks a lot neater, it also helps to lower the overall centre of gravity. The tape features extra-strong glue, it is yet super easy to remove and it comes in packs of five pre-cut stripes.
