Team Associated Pro Comp SC8

Team Associated have announced the release of the Travis Coyne edition Pro Comp SC8, the latest edition to their line of 1/8th scale, nitro 4WD, authentic race truck replicas. Based on the championship-winning RC8T truggy platform, the SC8 was designed to meet the scale specifications of the full-size short course race truck. It’s all there, Fully assembled and ready to go, underneath the replica body, roll cage and wheels beats the heart of a RC8T. Team Associated’s Pro.28 engine and XP3D Computerized Digital FM Radio system are factory installed. The differentials and shocks come filled with the proper silicone fluids, making it faster and easier than ever to get Team Associated SC8 performance out of the box and into the dirt.

The Truth is specifically designed for the Traxxas Slash and represents the latest in trends by offering a completely redesigned off-road truck body. The cab, bed and fenders are all areas of focus on the Truth and without disappointment the new Slash body slides into the front of the pack. In addition, one of the highlights of the styling cues includes extra fender clearance to minimize troublesome tire rubbing issues. Made from clear durable lightweight polycarbonate, with protective overspray film, it is supplied with window masks and detailed decal sheet.

The Hardcore Slayer body captures every essence of Championship Off-Road Racing with exceptional details down to the realistic bed shrouding, radiator, tubular chassis and shock details and delivers ultra hardcore fun with aggressive off-road styling, an integrated molded rear wing for added downforce and pronounced fenders. The Desert Rat reaps in that bold, off-road desert look. It’s extremely pronounced fenders give it an attack-like stance, low profile styling make for fast straight-line speed, and it’s equipped with simulated side mirrors just like the full-scale Trophy trucks. Exceptional detail throughout including bed shrouding, radiator and extreme shock detail including reservoirs just behind the cab. Both shells have been made from GE .060 thick lexan, so it’s as durable as the punishment you throw at it.

Associated SC8 Short Course Race Truck

Each SC8 comes decked out with one of four fully licensed race truck bodies, wheels and tires, designed to look just like the full size race trucks that run in short course off road series around the country.
