JConcepts Tense wheels for Slash 2wd

New for the Slash 2wd JConcepts have released their Tense front wheels which are a glue-on, all-out competition inspired wheel from the ground up designed to withstand heavy abuse and perform under even the most demanding situations.  The wheel design begins with a scale appeal and functionality that separates itself from the rest, while a heavy duty black nylon material and 12mm beefy hex design combine to form the ultimate in scale and performance. Topping off the appearance of the wheel are 2 optional open and closed center caps, one with JC logo for authenticity and brand loyalty. With 2 solid and 2 open center caps included, the driver now has the option for complete show with a closed cap or performance and function with the open cap. The center caps are secured to the wheel with included 6 – 2.5x8mm button head screws.

Ansmann Racing X4TT prototype SC truck

German company Ansmann Racing have released the first image of their all new short course truck, the X4TT. This 4wd shaft driven truck, with saddle pack battery configuration, is still in the prototype phase and the company expects a May or June release date. We will bring you more details when we get them.

Associated Short Course teaser

Team Associated have spent the last few days teasing visitors to their site about a new Short course truck to add to their SC10, SC8 and SC18. Although we have no further details we would take a guess that this could be a 4wd version of the SC10, but when we get more concrete information we will let you know.

MIP C-CVD kits to feature Snap Ring

MIP have announce that all C-CVD kits for 1/10 & SC vehicles have a new upgrade. In their quest to keep MIP products updated, all MIP C-CVD kits will start coming with the MIP Snap Ring combined with set screw lock that ensures no failure due to lost drive pins. This is a running upgrade so there are no changes in part numbers or prices on these kits.

HPI Baja SC TR-10 chrome wheels

Style up the Baja 5SC with these chrome TR-10 Wheels from HPI, mimicking the style used in full-size short course racing. These 10-spoke beadlock wheels not only look great, they also grip the tires in place securely and hold it in place in all sorts of tough racing conditions. The tire is held on with bead lock rings to keep it securely mounted on the wheel without the need for messy super glue. Made from tough high-impact nylon with metal reinforcements around the hex hubs for extra durability, they are available to fit the front and rear wheels in -4mm and -10mm offset.
