STRC Blitz skid plates & hex adapters

STRC’s new CNC machined HD front and rear bumper/skid plates for the HPI Blitz range of cars helps add great looks and increases durability. The skid plates are machined from a solid block of aluminium and can handle any abuse from racing to bashing, while still allowing the front and rear bumper to flex. Available in orange, gun metal, silver and limited edition red anodizing. While the HPI Blitz comes with cast aluminum hex adapters, feedback from customers was that they can crack under heavy load or over-tightening of the set-screw. These new CNC machined aluminium hex adapters offers more durability while adding that final touch to the looks of your Blitz, matching the colors of their existing option parts for this truck.

HPI Baja 5SC truck

Jump into the thrill of Short Course racing with the Baja 5SC truck from HPI. The Baja 5SC takes the HPI Baja line-up to the next level with a new SC-1 body that gives the Baja 5SC authentic Short Course looks. Adding to the durability and realistic looks is a new skid-plate front bumper and a large rear bumper with real rubber mud flaps. Power comes from a massive 26cc engine that propels the Baja 5SC to speeds in excess of 40mph and it runs for more than 45 minutes on a single tank of regular unleaded pump gasoline. For extra traction on any dirt surface, HB Rodeoo tires are now standard equipment, mounted on new TR-10 bead-lock truck wheels. Durability has been increased with Super Heavy Duty 9mm drive shafts, updated rear hub carriers and HD front hex hubs. A 2.4GHz radio system is standard equipment for precise control and long distance reception without the hassles of frequency crystals. It’s all ready-to-run right out of the box, pre-assembled by their expert crew so you can hit the dirt quickly.

Team Durango DESC410R update

Having brought you the first photos of the new DESC410R at the start of the week, Durango have released an additional image to better show the standard rear bumper. Smaller than those seen on other cars, as it is a race spec car so they didn’t want to add too much weight, the bumper does a good job of protecting the car from nose up landings without throwing you off the racing line. Finally, they wanted to say that the tires shown in the photos will not be included in the kit, as racers will buy what’s best for their track.

RPM SC10 Rear axle carriers

New for the SC10, RPM have released this rear axle carrier using the larger outer bearings found in Associated’s #9730 axle carriers. The larger outer bearing supports the axle better, providing over 1/16′ more axle contact than two 3/16′ x 3/8′ standard bearings, for smoother, longer lasting performance. With the larger outer bearing and RPM proprietary materials, they found the perfect blend of strength and durability for a whole range of Associated 1/10th scale electric vehicles.

Hong Nor have released the ready-to-run version of their SCRT10 nitro. This truck is 100% fully assembled with the Hong Nor HNT-3 2.4G radio and a .18 rear exhaust pull-start engine. Supplied with a painted body with stickers already pre-applied, the car is ready to run right out of the box.

LRP continues to release different, brand new universal charging leads and LiPo hard case adapter wires for a faster and smoother handling of the charging process.
