Available in two sizes, 5” x 5” (125 x 125mm) & 29” x 19” (735 x 485mm), the mats make on-site maintenance tasks easier not only for ground-based modelers but for airplane and heli pilots, too. The Racers Edge SC RaceCase was inspired by the Short Course class of vehicles, but its capacity and design reach far beyond, and now it has been updated for 2011 with a removable tool tray. With the optional mid-deck installed, the RaceCase can carry two on road sedans up to 200mm. Once the mid-deck is removed it can transport an 1/8th scale buggy with the tires and wing on, comp and scale crawlers, 1/10th scale offroad trucks and buggys, and of course 1/8th and 1/10th Short Course trucks. An integrated radio compartment offers easy transmitter storage, or extra room for tires and parts, while there are also two external pockets with tough zippers for extra storage. The removable tool tray can stow seven drivers snug inside elastic loops, and can easily Velcro in and out of the bag to go to your bench or pit space at the track. Reinforced carry handles in two locations offer comfortable carrying positions no matter what you’re transporting and the shoulder strap also offers a hands free carrying position for the ultimate in comfort and convenience.

Traxxas have introduced the latest member of the VXL family, the award-winning Slash, now with Velineon Brushless Power. Slash VXL crushes the competition with brute force acceleration and unmatched top speed. With the included Power Cell 7-cell NiMh battery, Slash VXL rockets to over 40mph. The Slash VXL combines extreme brushless horsepower with the proven fun and durability that have made Slash the number-1 selling short course truck. Hardcore acceleration completely blows everything else away. Out of the box, Velineon is optimized to deliver the tire-melting horsepower, benchmark speed and precision throttle response you expect from brushless. Other upgrades in new dual bellcrank steering with integrated servo saver. Originally developed for Slash 4X4, the Slash VXL’s steering bellcranks feature optimized geometry and a cam-type servo-saver to protect the servo’s gears from crash damage without compromising steering precision. Also updated are the driveshafts, the Slash VXL stepping up with new, extra-strong telescoping universal-joint driveshafts. In combination with Slash’s Brushless Ready steel-gear transmission, the result is a Traxxas-Tough driveline that makes certain every watt of Velineon power is transformed into rocket-like thrust.
