Upgrade RC are now selling pre painted and skinned body shells for a range of the most popular buggies and truggies as well as this tribal flame look for the Associated SC10. Making a simplified process of producing a good looking body even simpler, we do hope that in the future Upgrade RC will release more variety to their short course pre skinned range for the super lazy among us.

Speed Passion have released 4 speedo and motor combos specifically tailored for short course racing. The first combo is the Cirtix Short Course Master combo that utilizes their 3600kv custom Short Course brushless motor giving a perfect balance of improved speed over the stock power system, but not so over the top that handling is compromised by excessive power. The setup and options of the Cirtix Short Course Master ESC is as easy as it gets with one button setup and pocket programming card. This combo is also available with a more powerful 2100kv 17.5T Ultra Sportsman motor. Next up for 4×4 short course trucks is the Cirtix RR ESC and 4000kv motor combo. Finally for 1/8th 4×4 SC trucks is the Cirtix R8 Short Course ESC combo that includes the Silver Arrow 5.5T motor. Now available from HPI as an option part for the Blitz RTR, replacing the standard gear diff, this ball differential comes directly from the high performance Blitz ESE. Featuring ceramic diff balls mated to a ball race and a steel gear, it ensures smooth ball diff action without compromising the strength of the all-metal drive-train. High quality out-drives ensure long part life. The diff is easily adjusted with a 2.5mm driver so you can tune the feel to your driving style. The diff also shaves 20g of rotating weight from the gearbox.

Following their teaser image back at the end of April, TQ Racing has released some more detailed CAD drawings of their soon to be released SXSC10 short course truck. We are told that the molds are complete and parts are already being manufactured, with their goal being to debut the truck at the up and coming SC Nats in CT. The truck will come in two versions, the first will be a RTR brushless kit with a 2.4Ghz radio, while the second will sport some factory hop ups and come as a pre built Race Roller with the go fast setup.
