Robitronic Competition LiPos & NiMh sport packs

Robitronic have introduced their complete new line of batteries that includes high end competition packs as well as sport stick packs. The LiPo packs are available in stick pack, saddle pack and 1/12th scale configuration and all sport hard cases. The 5400mAh 50C & 5000mAh 50C stick packs feature low resistance 4mm plugs and all packs packs supplied with 3.5mm silicone cables and 4mm gold plated plugs. Also available are the sport NiMh packs that come in 5000mAh, 4000mAh, 3600mAh & 3000mAh and come pre wired with 2.5mm silicone cable and Tamiya plug.

Jesse Munn wins 2010 Northwest Short Course Nats

The 1st annual Northwest Short Course Nationals were held May 14-15th at TriCities RC Raceway in Pasco, WA and the race was a huge success with over 150 entries. Team Kyosho’s Jesse Munn took the overall win in the Modified 2wd class with his Kyosho Ultima SC, winning the 2 mains of the triple A-Main format against a field of 44 entries. Jesse won a hard fought battle in A-Main 1 against Team Associated driver and TQ Chris Bridgewater, winning by just .7 seconds. The 2nd main Jesse came back and won by a comfortable 11 seconds to bring home the overall win for Kyosho. Jesse also TQ’d and won the Modified 4wd class with a second place in A-Main 1 and victories in both A-Main 2 and A-Main 3. Privateer driver Eyria Eatmon took the Stock SC class TQ and overall victory running his Kyosho Ultima SC as well.

Associated SC10 Brushless RTR

Team Associated’s Brushless SC10, modeled after the trucks racing in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, now comes loaded with new features for this season. Coming pre-fitted with the XP/Reedy 3300 KV Brushless system and is controlled by a XP3-SS 2.4GHz 3-channel radio system. Based on the 7-time R.O.A.R. Nationals-winning RC10T4, the SC10 brushless comes ready-to-run with a factory-finished short-course race truck body, short-course-style wheels, and aggressive tread multi-terrain tires, all which have been designed to look just like the full-size race trucks that run in short-course off-road series around the country. Pro-Line Blitz F-150, SC tires & PowerStroke spring sets

Lots of new Short Course product releases from Pro-Line, starting with this officially licensed Ford F-150 shell for the HPI Blitz. Featuring bold off-road Short Course styling with extremely pronounced fenders for an attack-like stance. Having had a sneak peek last week, PL have finally released their new Suburbs SC tires which come in MC compound and are great for indoor clay surface and prefers low track temperatures and wet surfaces. PL have also released Bow Tie SC in the MC compound and the Trencher SC in the M3 soft compound. Finally for the PL PowerStroke front and rear shocks for the Traxxas Slash and Slash 4×4 as these range of springs. Now you can adjust ride heights and dual-rate spring rates almost infinitely with these color coded springs. Kits come with six primary (short) and six secondary (long) high quality springs with color coded stripes to reference rates.

Kyosho has produced a 100% race kit with a ton of high performance components. The Ultima SC-R is equipped with some of the best option parts that Kyosho has to offer like velvet coated shocks, ball differential, universal swing shafts, steel suspension bushings, adjustable hard-rod ends and teflon shielded bearings. Available in late July.
