ST Racing Concepts Slash options

New from ST Racing Concepts for the Traxxas Slash are a range of machined aluminium parts to improve the performance & looks of your car. First up is this new Pro Racing CNC machined aluminium battery strap, which adds more strength and battery position adjustability to your Traxxas Slash. Also new for the Slash, are new shock bodies and shock caps, that improve the smoothness and performance of the shocks. Featuring an upper cap o-ring to provide a better seal, the lower shock body area has been redesigned to better accommodate the stock Traxxas O-ring and plastic sleeve for the smoothest shock operation. For the tires on your Slash & Slayer, there are these new machined aluminum beadlocks that offer a big weight savings over the standard steel versions. Finally STRC have released a lightweight wrench that features a 4mm turnbuckle on one end with a 5mm version on the opposite side. All products are available in various different colours.

Pro-Line Carnage Desert Rat for Slash

Anyone who has ever watch CORR series racing knows that the cars tend to look rather 2nd hand after some close racing. Pro-Line have recognized this and have released a World’s first, an RC body with breakaway panels. The Carnage Desert Rat is the usual good looking offering from Pro-Line but the front and rear fenders can come off when impacted, adding to the scale realism. Simply install the included 3M® lock material and your ready to rumble again, and again, and again. Made from durable/genuine .060 Lexan, it is supplied with decal sheet, window masks and paint-then-peel over spray film. Check out the small video on their site by following the link below.

JConcepts Illuzion Truth Body wraps

We recently wrote about the new JConcepts Truth shell for the Traxxas Slash, now the Florida based company has released 2 body wraps for the same body. As well as a red coloured wrap JConcepts has teamed up with the apparel wizards at Good Run Gear to offer an officially licensed GRG off-road truck body wrap. Let the Truth body wrap completely redefine the look of the Slash and look like an official off-road truck while tearing up the local track or neighborhood. Simply spray on a simple 1 or 2 color paint job and apply the GRG / JConcepts wraps and you’re off to the races with a unique looking off-road truck body.

JConcepts Truth for Traxxas Slash

The Truth is specifically designed for the Traxxas Slash and represents the latest in trends by offering a completely redesigned off-road truck body. The cab, bed and fenders are all areas of focus on the Truth and without disappointment the new Slash body slides into the front of the pack. In addition, one of the highlights of the styling cues includes extra fender clearance to minimize troublesome tire rubbing issues. Made from clear durable lightweight polycarbonate, with protective overspray film, it is supplied with window masks and detailed decal sheet.

Pro-Line have released 2 new short course truck bodies with the announcement of the Hardcore and Desert Rat bodies for the Traxxas Slayer. The Hardcore Slayer body captures every essence of Championship Off-Road Racing with exceptional details down to the realistic bed shrouding, radiator, tubular chassis and shock details and delivers ultra hardcore fun with aggressive off-road styling, an integrated molded rear wing for added downforce and pronounced fenders. The Desert Rat reaps in that bold, off-road desert look. It’s extremely pronounced fenders give it an attack-like stance, low profile styling make for fast straight-line speed, and it’s equipped with simulated side mirrors just like the full-scale Trophy trucks. Exceptional detail throughout including bed shrouding, radiator and extreme shock detail including reservoirs just behind the cab.
