Infinity IF15-2 Shock Update kits

Hot on the heals of winning their recent 1:10 Nitro Touring Car European Championship win with Dario Balestri, World Champions Infinity have announced the release of several new update parts developed specifically for the IF15-2 platform. Based on feedback from the team, the shocks for the IF15-2 have been updated.  This update enhances overall grip and improves drivability across all speed ranges.  The update includes newly developed shock pistons, newly developed shock plastic parts and newly developed shock shafts. The new 4-hole pistons are designed to provide more damping at higher piston speeds, resulting in a more stable car behaviour and improved drivability.  The total hole area is the same as the 2 × 1.1 mm or 3 × 0.9 mm pistons, making it easier to quantify and tune your setup.  Newly develop Sock plastic parts means damper ends now feature a flanged design, and the spring retainer system has been revised to allow for an additional 2 mm of stroke.  Two types of spring retainers are included: one with the same specification as the previous model, and one that lowers the spring position by 2 mm.  Lowering the spring allows it to move more freely, increasing grip.  With revised shaft lengths—G299: 28.5 mm, G300: 25.5 mm—the new shock shafts, when used in combination with the newly designed plastic parts, enable the IF15-2 to utilise its full shock stroke potential.  With revised shaft lengths—G299: 28.5 mm, G300: 25.5 mm—the new shock shafts, when used in combination with the newly designed plastic parts, enable the IF15-2 to utilise its full shock stroke potential.  The G300 kit for the front shocks includes the short shock-type shock stay.  Another update is the he mold for the lid of the radio box has been revised this time to expand the space and make cord management easier.  Also, a guide rib has been added so that the extension connector can be used as a switch.

MXLR MTC3 FlexBumper

Max Machler’s MXLR brand has added the Mugen Seiki MTC3 to its offering of 3D printed FlexBumpers.  Weighing 9.5 grams, it is printed with thermoplastic polyurethane for the optimal strength and flexibility and matches the original MTC3 footprint but with a lower overall profile.  Over a foam bumper the advantages of a FlexBumper are it absorbs hits better and does not transfer them as much into the chassis structure.  More robust and sturdy, it always goes back to original shape and don’t drag on the floor after a crash.

Kyosho Inferno MP11 1:8 Buggy

Following the showing of a ‘Prototype’ Inferno MP11 at the recent 25th anniversary of the Kyosho Masters, the Japanese manufacturer has released official images of their new 1:8 Buggy kit offering.  The first full model change since the MP10 launched in January 2019, while continuous updates have kept the MP10 updated, the MP11 takes a leap forward with an all-new design.  Key changes include a newly developed main chassis, revised suspension and drivetrain systems, and an all-new body — all engineered for elite racing performance.  One of the most significant changes is the revised front/rear weight distribution. With a more front-biased balance compared to the MP10, the MP11 delivers remarkably smooth handling that reduces driver stress.  Coupled with optimised suspension geometry, the MP11 also achieves higher cornering speeds.  The range of adjustable settings has been greatly expanded, and workability has been significantly improved — critical advantages for adapting to different track sizes and surfaces around the world.  The MP11 also debuts a completely redesigned body and a new rear wing with matching wing stays, offering high-level aerodynamic performance perfectly tuned to the chassis.
