Scheidegger wins 1/8th Electric class at MC-Best Cup

After a thrilling end of season race in Aigle, Switzerland Team Shepherd was able to claim the top 4 places in the overall point standings of the 1/8th Electric On-road class with 26 drivers participating in total. Before the last races 11 and 12 of the MC-Best Cup, Stefan Scheidegger was leading the category by a small margin over André Krebs and Oliver Mülhauser, followed by Martin Messerli in 4th all using the Shepherd Velox V8.

Race 11 on Saturday was dominated by André with Oliver finishing 2nd, but Stefan gave his best to achieve a 3rd place. Unfortunately the weather on Sunday was very wet and cold and race 12 saw only one round of finals. Again it was André taking the win followed by Martin Messerli with Stefan Scheidegger finishing 3rd again. This result was enough for Stefan to claim the 2014 overall title in front of André Krebs and Martin Messerli with Oliver Müllauser completing the top 4.
