Reno Savoya wins French EFRA GP

Reno Savoya wins French EFRA GP

The French EFRA GP was run in Noeux les Mines last weekend on what the drivers described as a great and technical track laid out by the CARCA club crew. The 3-day race attracted the majority of the French top-level drivers including Xray’s Reno Savoya whose weekend started disastrous as he got a good load of equipment stolen from his road car. Leaving the issues behind he was able to take the overall TQ for the Nitro Buggy final by taking 3 out of the 5 qualifying rounds. The finals then pretty much being a Reno show as he lead for the first 20 minutes, followed by some issues that let him drop in the ranking but he soon recovered to take the win 12 seconds ahead of Jerome Aigoin and Jerome Sartel. Lorenzo Crolla finished 4th with Jean-Pierrick Sartel in tow.
