Yokomo YD-2 shock spring series

Yokomo have introduced a new shock spring series for their YD-2 RWD drift car kits. Available as separate sets for the front and rear, the front springs are of a high pitch design for greater response, increasing front tracking and feeling throughout the corner. The rear spring are available in an increased forward traction or higher side bite variant to suit a wide range of track conditions and allowing for better tuning. All three sets come in all-round (carpet asphalt) or soft (P tile/concrete) hardness, making it six sets in total that are available separately or as complete 6-pair combo package. To not alter the characteristics and performance of the springs, they come without any surface treatment, meaning some discolouration can occur over time that is best countered by lightly oiling them using bearing or machine oil.

Leadfinger Racing B6.1 A2 Tactic body shell

Leadfinger Racing’s popular A2 Tactic body shell is now also available in a variant for the Team Associated B6.1 buggy. Working with key features from their previous line of 1/8th scale bodies, and transferring ideas to the 2WD platform, yields a product that LFR customers have been waiting for. Like the A2 Tactic bodies before it, the B6.1 body has an added roof vent that allows for better cooling for today’s sensitive electronics. Running cooler has it’s advantages and feeding cool air directly over the power house is a welcomed upgrade. Behind that, LFR has designed a top fin that joins into a rear swoop for added stability and increased rear down force. The combination of the two help give the Team associated B6.1 a balanced and precise feel during mid corner rotation and on power exit. The A2 Tactic body is sold in clear ready for paint, including two pre-cut Tactic wings, stickers and window masks.
