AKA Chain Link 2.2 1/10th buggy tyre

AKA’s popular Chain Link tread is now also available in a 1/10th 2.2″ variant. The standard size rear tyre features a bi-level, interlocking tread pattern that creates support for the tyre’s carcass and treads. This additional support leads to consistency through corners and provides on-throttle stability while offering a balanced forward drive and side bite which is ideal for hard-packed or blue groove, indoor and outdoor tracks. Available in clay, ultra soft, super soft, and soft compounds as tyres with red inserts.

AKA Slicks 1/10th stadium truck tyres

AKA have introduced the Slicks 1/10th stadium truck tyres. The treadless tyre is designed for maximum performance on high-grip, indoor clay tracks and it features a matte finish. It is compatible with all standard 2.2″ stadium truck wheels, available in AKA’s Clay compound and included are Red soft closed cell inserts.

AKA 1/10 Evo Closed Cell Black Inserts

AKA have expanded their range of closed cell inserts with the introduction of these new black 1/10th Evo inserts. Available for buggy rear, 2wd and 4wd front, the black (Medium) insert is ideal for smooth, high-grip tracks and very warm ambient temperatures (90F/32C+).

AKA long wear compound truggy tyres

Coming soon from AKA are the Evo Gridiron and Evo Impact 1/8th truggy tyres in the new long wear compounds. The new long life rubber are available in a familiar Soft and Medium hardness and yield up to 50 percent longer tread life than standard compounds, making them ideal for today’s demanding high-grip, high-speed, and abrasive tracks. The tyres are available as rubber including red inserts and pre-mounted on white or yellow Evo wheels.

AKA Slicks 1/10th buggy tyres

AKA is the latest company to introduce treadless slick tyres for 1/10th off-road buggies. Designed for maximum performance on high-grip, indoor clay tracks they are available in Clay compound only and compatible with the AKA Evo 2.4″ wheels or Hexlite 2.2″ wheels with the Evo conversion kit. Available as 2WD or 4WD front/rear pairs with red inserts, or 2WD/4WD rear pairs pre-mounted on Evo wheels.

AKA 1/8th long wear compounds

AKA have announced the release of two new long wear compounds, especially designed for today’s demanding high-grip, high-speed, and abrasive tracks. The new compounds are available in a familiar “Soft” and “Medium” hardness and yield up to 50 percent longer tread life than standard compounds. They are available in most 1/8th buggy tread patterns.
