Avid B7/B74 1:10 13mm Avant Shock Set

Avid Racing Concepts has introduced this 13mm Avant Shock Set intended for use on Team Associated’s latest 1:10 Buggy platforms, the B7 and the B74. The shock bodies have Avid’s proven low-friction Avant Coating which has a polished, mirror-like finish that resists wear while offering the lowest friction on the market. The exterior showcases our signature Ringer silver highlights and a laser-etched AV logo at the bottom, making them stand out. They’re compatible with AE pistons, and Avid has optimised the design to use 4 fewer machined spacers, cutting replacement costs in half. The set also includes (2) 13×23 and (2) 13×27.5 Avant Shock Bodies, (2) 3×23 and (2) 3×27.5 Avid Chrome Shock Shafts, (8) Avant AE Machined Shock Spacers, (8) Avid X-Rings, (1) Avid Slop Oring Grease, (4) piston washers, (4) piston screws, (4) cap orings, and (4) cartridge orings. Avid AE Shock Rebuild Kit

Avid Racing Concepts has released this Team Associated shock rebuild kit that gives you everything you need to freshen up your current AE 1:10 offroad suspension. The kit includes (2) 3×23 and (2) 3×27.5 Avid Chrome Shock Shafts, (12) Avid Machined Shock Spacers, (8) Avid X-Rings, and (1) Avid Slop Oring Grease. All of these items are available separately if you don’t need everything as well.

Avid AE Machined Shock Spacers

New from Avid Racing Concepts are these AE Machined Shock Spacers to fit the recent 13mm and 12mm AE shocks for the B7/B6 line up of cars. They are machined with a Swiss lathe so they are perfectly true and from a self-lubricating plastic to ensure they are super smooth while maintaining strength. They install just like the manual states – Thin spacer > Xring > thick spacer > Xring > stepped spacer with
the wide side in first. Spacer pack includes all the spacers needed for 4 shocks – 4 thin spacers, 4 thick spacers, and 4 stepped spacers.

Avid B7 Aluminium Steering Bellcranks

Avid Racing Concepts has added these Aluminium Steering Bellcranks to its range of option parts for the Team Associated RC10B7 2WD Buggy. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium alloy, black anodised with silver edge highlights for a premium appearance. They feature a notched design to improve clearance when adding Ackermann shims. These aluminium bellcranks are designed for serious racers looking to eliminate flex in the steering system, delivering maximum steering feel.

Avid B7 Machined Idler Gear Set

New from Avid Racing Concepts is this machined idler gear set for the Team Associated RC10B7 2WD Buggy. Machined out of self-lubricating plastic so they are perfectly true, they allow the transmission to spin much more freely. Having tested the gears for a couple of months with huge success, the only time they could strip them was on a very high bite carpet track, with a direct drive, and the gear diff in the highest 3 position. The way the AE transmission is designed is that in the higher positions you are increasing the gear mesh gap and the removal of the slipper put a lot of strain on them when landing at full throttle. They were also tested on the same track in Mod with a slipper and there were no issues.

Avid Ringer Shock Collar Sets

Avid Racing Concepts has released 12mm or 13mm Shock Collar Kits to allow you to run either 12mm or 13mm springs on AE 13mm, TLR G3/3.5, and Schumacher LD3/L1R shock bodies. The kit includes 4 threaded shock collars that feature offset laser-etched Avid logos for ease of matching spring tension left and right in 1/4 turn increments with a silver ringer highlight machining. These collars will ensure proper spring fitment without the use of 3d printed adapters and feature standard internal oring design for holding the collar in position.

Avid B7 Titanium Slipper Screw

A new addition from Avid Racing Concepts to its range of aftermarket parts for the Team Associated RC10B7 2WD Buggy is this Titanium Slipper Screw. Thinned out in the centre for less rotating mass, it has a 2mm hex on the head so you can more easily tighten your slipper while the motor fan is installed. Made from billet 6Al-4V Titanium it is nearly 50% lighter than the kit steel screw.

Avid B7 Front Roll Center Shim | Tower Alignment Shim

Adding to its range of aftermarket parts for the Team Associated RC10B7 2WD Buggy, Avid has released a Front Roll Center Shim and a +2.5° Front Shock Tower Alignment Shim. The Front Roll Center Shims are made out of 100% carbon and are offered as a set with four thicknesses of 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, and 2.0mm. Lowering the front hinge pins allows the front end to roll more, this is extremely helpful for absorbing the extra energy caused by high bite tracks like carpet/astro turf/prepped clay. It can sometimes be counter-intuitive thinking why this helps, but a good way to picture the benefits, imagine your car has turnbuckles as front shock. When giving your car any steering input the car will immediately respond causing the rear to become unstable. This increase in roll helps slow all that reaction down in the front and then in the mid-corner it picks up steering.
