Capricorn LAB F101 formula kit – Preview images

Italian company Capricorn, known for the successful 1/8th and 1/10th nitro on-road cars, will soon have the LAB F101 1/10th scale formula car available. The vehicle is based on a narrow carbon fibre chassis and it will feature a front suspension with lower carbon fibre and upper composite arms, the servo mount is designed for low-profile servos and the battery compartment takes both shorty and standard-size LiPo batteries by the look of things. In the rear the F101 sports a large volume centre shock, a single tube damper and a lightweight aluminium motor pod with a sliding-design rear axle mount. Capricorn Lab C802 front body support

Capricorn have a new front body support kit for the Lab C802 1/8th scale on-road car available. Ball bearing equipped carbon fibre plates attach to the front lower A-arms with the assembly helping to retain the bodyshell’s front fenders at a certain height to make for better aerodynamics and less body and tyre scrub during hard cornering. Included in the set come two carbon fibre brackets, ball races and mounting hardware.

Capricorn lightweight aluminium spring retainers

Capricorn have new lightweight spring retainers for their range of cars available. Machined from aluminium and sporting excessive milling the parts offer a low weight while being very durable at the same time. The black anodising helps to reduce wear and makes the parts more durable.

Tesla P3 turbo off-road glow plug

Capricorn have introduced the P3 ultra hot glow plug. The turbo-style plug will provide improved idling and better acceleration and it fits all off-road engines with a turbo-style combustion camber insert.

Capricorn Tesla 21 GT nitro engine

Capricorn have introduced the Tesla 21 GT nitro engine for 1/8th GT vehicles. Built using a same crankcase and crankshaft as Tesla’s 1/8th on-road engine the GT features a class specific timing, and a 5-port liner and 7mm venturi insert to comply with the classes’ rule book.

Tesla low-profile fuel filter

Coming from Capricorn and made for most 1/8th and 1/10th nitro applications is a low-profile fuel filter. The filter’s body is of a 2-piece design that allows to easily clean the inner micro mesh element from any dust and dirt. The filter is made from aluminium with one side coming anodised in Tesla’s signature blue colour with a laser etched logo.

Zdenko Kunak teams up with Capricorn

Italian company Capricorn have announced the signing of former ETS Pro Stock Champion Zdenko Kunak to their electric on-road team. Zdenko will be racing in Touring Car Modified and Stock classes at events such as the ETS, the LRP Masters and other important races in Europe and World-wide. This is what Zdenko has to say about the deal:

First of all I would like to thanks Patrizio and other guys in Capricorn factory for everything they did me during my visit in Milano. It’s been a year since I make a pause in my racing career for a reason, but now I’m back, even stronger than before. I will be racing 1/10 Stock and Modified category at ETS, LRP Master and other big events in Europe and in the world.

Tesla .21 engine ceramic front bearing

New from Capricorn comes the Tesla 7x19x6mm ceramic bearing for .21 nitro engines. The front crankshaft bearing is made to C2 tolerances for the highest possible precision and it fits all Novarossi-based engines.
